Skillet is a Christian band but even John cooper the lead singer said fans take there songs in more than one way and that's the beauty of Rock it's that pretty much any song will have more than one meaning
Skillet, firstly is technically a Christian Rock Band. But also they are AMAZING to see live! I was lucky enough to get to see them play this song live and John Cooper, the lead vocalist, said that he wrote this song talking about his God. However, he wanted his fans to find their own meaning in it. If it's also God for them, then awesome. But if it's not he doesn't mind. They might be Christian, but they make music for everyone to find their own meaning behind it.
i love skillet, they're songs are so catchy and deep.

Skillet all songs are made in a way where they’re open to interpretation, friends, family relationship etc however yes they’re a Christian band so their original meaning is about God. They’re smart they’re a Christian band that’s not preaching too hard so secular audience would never know unless they’re told that they are a Christian band.

Lol I'm totally binge watching your videos bro. So I'm a Christian and growing up I was only allowed to listen to Christian music. Skillet was one of the first concert I went to in the 90's. I actual met John and Coery Cooper and they were so amazing. Regardless of your beliefs the music is uplifting and we need more of that. Great vid broski

They are awesome in concert now they are doing Drive In theater tours around the country. Go check them out. Yes Christian band but don’t to pushy just speak the truth. And positive. Heard a interview with them and John tried to get a Rock station to play a song the station said they were to positive. And a promoter told them if the lose the Christian stuff they could be the biggest band or next biggest band a few years ago. Of course they said with their theme and they are still big.

Yeah its religious they are a christian rock band so all of their songs has a religious message but you know like all songs it's up to interpretation like for me it's a good hype music or for going to war music.
