    The Fender Jazzmaster is an absolute powerhouse of a guitar. People who love Jazzmasters REALLY LOVE Jazzmasters... almost as much as they love VOX AC30s. This guitar really pushes the envolope for the price range and i HIGHLY suggest checking one out if you or someone you know loves the Fender Jazzmaster.

    This was seriously the best demo I have seen on this guitar. Even better than the stores that sell them. I'm not sure why the regular Player Series Jazzmaster has humbuckers instead of these pickups but, wow, this sounds AMAZING! I'm still learning guitar and this video wanted me to just go to CME and purchase one right now. Just wish it came in Polar White. Only questions are did you use any pedals or just the amp and how does the 4-way switch compare to the rhythm circuit? Curious how this compares to the American Pro II as they both have the series/parallel option.

    Surfs up dude!! Interesting guitar, sounds great for the styles its seems best suited for. I do like the blue color with the cream pick guard/pick-ups, classy looking.

    Are you sure about the pickup selector? Another demo says 3 is neck and 4 is series and that sounds closer to me.

      I just bought one and was told 3 is neck and 4 is series

    I never played a jazzmaster and i love surf sounds.. i took this guitar into my hands yesterday and couldnt believe how good it sounded… i played it through a fender amp with spring reverb and tremolo and thats exactly how it should sound.
    I will trade some of my guitars for that sound!

    I'm rather fond of the Player series stuff. They are an incredible value and it seems like this is no different. I picked up a player Tele a couple months ago just before the price on them went up and I haven't had a desire to play any of my other electric guitars.

    Jazz masters are very cool unique instruments.
    You ever see Michael Lemmo from Norms?
    He does some pretty cool stuff on it

    Mine is quite nice but I couldn't get it to work with 10 gauge strings. I even got a Fender American Professional bridge and shimmed the neck, but it still had strings that sounded dead or would rattle at the bridge saddle. The solution was 11 gauge flat wound strings, which allowed for lower action, improved consistency of tone across all strings, and no more saddle rattle. I understand you can make 10 gauge work with a Staytrem or Mastery bridge, but I'm digging the heavier flat wounds for now.

    Watching this as I'm unboxing my new Vintera Jazzmaster! Although I wish I knew about this model before I got the Vintera which doesn't have the Pure Vintage pickups...perhaps some returns are in order...

    I have one in pacific peach and love it!....upgraded the tremolo and put a buzz stop in.....had to get rid of the white pickguard for a tortoise pickguard. It just reminded me too much of an orange Creamsicle pop. Great guitars for the money especially the pure vintage 65's that come with it

    You have pickup positions incorrect. 1 - bridge/ 2 - bridge and neck parallel / 3 - neck / 4 - bridge and neck series Beauty of a guitar! I have the olive finish version.

      Dammit!! I definitely thought I had it right. Did I get them all wrong or just one or two??

    • @mikegutterman3427
      @mikegutterman3427 3 года назад

      I think it’s just 3 and 4 are wrong. It’s basically 3 is neck and 4 is neck and bridge in series. Not entirely your fault, the CME video had it wrong as well!

    • @aaronwilson8966
      @aaronwilson8966 2 года назад

      The CME video (ruclips.net/video/Q_kL3jhGRpM/видео.html) on these actually showed the positions as 1: Bridge, 2-Series, 3-Parallel, 4-Neck. See around the 6 minute marker.

      On mine in the U.K. it genuinely sounds like position 1 full bridge sounds like a bridge humbucker
      Then position 2/3 sound like traditional jazz single coil how my TVL sounded. Then position 4 full up sounds like a neck humbucker but it’s way to dark for me…
      So much conflicting info online too! I might replace pickguard and toggle switch and go for traditional wiring. Only as I prefer it

    You were talking about the lack of fret buzz, but I heard a good deal of it there in this demo. What’s up with that?

      I’ve been dreaming about one with sonic gray and tortoise pick, but that ice blue finish is very promising with a tortoise

    Man I bought one of these and needed an immediate set up. Was litterally unplayable. Had it set up and used shims. Still buzzes and it just kinda sucks. Glad you like it but I like my Squier better : (
