Alas - the germs got me. I've had a quiet week here, celebrated a very low-key and self-pitying birthday and have been getting just bits and bobs done. With that being said, there's still some pretty egg-citing updates to share with you!

It's just the one who escapes the pen - was going to clip her wing but she just runs straight to me and waits to be picked up 😂

I grew one cucumber in my greenhouse full of tomatoes peppers . All did very well but the cucumber produced cucumbers all summer I got 24 cucumbers in all from one plant will maybe grow two this year but no more . Still eating the peppers from 3 plants in one builders trug froze all them in bags to use as needed.

Ah amazing! Very encouraging - hope my cucs do as well as yours! I have some peppers started so fingers crossed they'll do okay in there as well.
