Smart move waiting to put up your poly… we spent half our weekend getting our two (admittedly cheap and cheerful) ones up only to have 45mph winds on Monday which completely destroyed them 😢. That’ll teach us to check the forecast more carefully next time. All looking great in the food forest - it’s going to be such a beautiful productive space in time 😊

Oh no! I feel for you. This weekend is looking hopeful to finally get it finished 🤞 need to get the cover nice and tight if we have any hope of keeping it down in the winds here.
Its hard to picture how the food forest will look sometimes - patience is a requirement 😂

Welcome! Thanks for your lovely comments 💛
Lots of planning, saving and moving as far away from home as we needed to so we could afford it! No regrets!

Do you have wind on your peninsula all year long?

Yeah pretty much. Its definitely worse in winter but always at risk of gale-force winds. Lost one of my greenhouses in July last year that had been up all spring...
