Would his hands actually be the notes? Because the first time i saw this i did actually look at his fingers and they were moving up and down and everything. If they went as far to actually have him play the notes, that would be impressive

The damn plant thing aggroed on me when I looked out of the opening in this area and cast that aoe with the merchant boi on the edge of it. Since it almost killed him I jumped into the pit in a blind rage and turned it into a plant graveyard.
This should of been a boss theme. The sadness to it would make such good atmosphere material for a merchant being a boss cause of what they went through. Especially if they use frenzied flame
If you want something like that, all you have to do is play "The Last Hunter" by the SIE Sound Team. It's a reference to Bloodborne, as the merchant plays the theme of the final boss

if you combine the music the frenzied merchants on the descent to the 3 fingers with the non-frenzied merchants music it goes together perfectly like they belong together

The one in Altus, on the other side of the Goldmask bridge, appeared to be playing in harmony with the background track. I was very impressed.
I had the same experience with the merchant across the bridge in limgrave, he synched his strumming with the background music perfectly!
