Hi thanks for your Question Yes I use DCC++EX Controller and have been since it first come out. Each track has its on DCC++EX Controller the original one using a Arduino and Arduino motor shield is the inside track has a switch to allow DC operation as well. the Outside track a is pure DCC++ EX with A DCC++EX Motor shield and Wi-Fi Module to allow my phone or tablet for control each track has blocks or districts there are with the new section about 10 blocks each track. DCC++ EX is Very powerful and is being constantly update and added on to and for around $100 au for each controller and yo dont need to be a Tech guy . I have lots of Arduino in my layout eg auto stop at the station , moving bus Traffic lights etc . thanks for your interest, Regards Greg
