Started out using a tripod for everything, photo and video. Now I hardly use it, shoot almost everything handheld like a tripod user, even milky waterfall shots. Where I like to trek, a tripod would be difficult to carry and use. I'm 70 now. Maybe if I was younger, but just don't see the point as I'm a gun and run type of shooter.

Hey man, I really admire your videos.... I am just a beginner and buying my first camera. I watched many of your videos and got to know about the differences between various cameras. I am thinking of buying Lumix S5 II or Canon R50..... I am more into shooting Nature cinematic videos. Kindly, give your advice.
Excellent! Like your 3 shots tip. Short and to the point. Any reason why 24-200 mm cannot replace the 3 lens for the 3 shots? Recommend that you try Nikon Z8. You will be amazed.
Thanks! A zoom lens can replace that but it can also make you lazy. switching lenses or walking closer or further can get the creative juices flowing a little.
Loved the tips! Can you make a video on how to take broll (handheld moves, tripod moves?) like you use them when you show off a product like a lens etc? Would be awesome!

Hey Fulan! I'm a total beginner and honestly don't get a lot of what you're talking about yet, but I love watching your videos! I haven't even decided on my first camera yet (considering the Canon m50 mii, at least this week LOL), but I find your content inspiring, informative and super engaging, so a big thanks!! Is there an online course or some other content you would recommend besides watching all these YT videos, which while wildly entertaining, might not be the easiest to learn step by step for a brand new beginner like myself. Any suggestions most welcome, and thanks again 💖😊

Canon m50 II is AMAZING! It's versatile and easy to use with tons of videos on how to do everything with it! I use it for everything! You won't be disappointed! You'll be so happy! The Canon vlogging app is awesome!
Excellent. Too many Tubers give the impression that camera movements are more important than story. Very, very often a locked-down camera is the very, very best tool to invite the viewer into the story. Thank heaven for pros who know this.
I see some comments said canon full frame mirrorless cannot fit to third party lens, how you fit Tamron lens to canon? By using adapter? I am just learning by watching your video.

I am totally a beginner and i will be awaiting your response.. Thanks.

My G! I asked this on another video, so please forgive the scam, but what would you recommend for a camera that can do a bit if videography and street photography? I know there is a lot to it, but any guidance would mean a ton for me!!! ❤🙏🏼
Now I’ve got a question I am a beginner and work with the canon m50 and the standard lens 15-45mm. Mostly I film videos so I don’t know If an other lens would work better or if i have to change something in the settings/ way I work…? what would you recommend ?
Please reply to me fast ! 15 30 F2.8 tamron lens work perfectly with Canon r7 ? I know if attached with full frame lens with crop body, mm is multiple with x1.6 crop factor. If i attach ed 15mm with my r7. It looks like 24m. But its okay for. I think so 24m is enough to wide for me. But i want to know. Its absolutely work fine or not ?

I really would like to be able to understand how to prevent choppy crappy 24p footage so I can help others who HAVE footage like that.
Thanks! The camera is set at 23.97 and the playback on resolve is set at 23.976. The codec is IPB. I just add my luts and do some basic color grading/correction and export at h.264 and 23.976 resolution 3840x2160 mab kb/s set to 95000.
@@FulaanCreative Damn, I was hoping H.265 was the answer... Do you think you could look at literally any of the footage from a channel called "Grind Hard Plumbing Co" and tell me why their 24p looks choppy?
@@Drunken_Hamster some if it looks normal other parts look a little strange but I'm not sure if it's because you mentioned it or if I would have noticed either way. It reminds me of some footage which I shoot in 60 fps for slow motion but then decide I want to use at normal speed. Or it could be that the shutter speed was off. Not sure exactly.
@@FulaanCreative See, with the shutter speed argument, I don't get it, because I've come across other channels with choppy 24 like that, and I KNOW they're using the 180-deg BS because they're filmmaker-style channels like yours! It's really driving me up a wall...
@@Drunken_Hamster most certainly because their shutter speed was too slow. I.e, they filmed at 24fps with a shutter of less than 1/48 like 1/20 or 1/30. I can almost promise you that’s why it’s missing frames.
If your computer is slow you could transcode the footage into a codec that your computer can handle or another option would be to use a cloud based editing software so that the processing takes place on the servers. An example of that would be the cloud version of Capcut which is free by the way.
