Competitive MMBN reminds me of competitive yugioh. "The only life point that matters is the last one." I was such a noob I always thought bug style was just bad and it meant you got unlucky with the style you got. Lmao, yeah, I was that filthy of a casual player haha.
Personally I'm not a fan of bug style because it's the RNG style, bug stop in bn3 is massive and it doesn't offer the colour for set green or custom 2. It's hard to build around (at least for me) because I want to get the most out of the bug buffs and play around the bug debuff which means balancing a cust for maybe number open, maybe bustermax and maybe busterclog (with no charge shots in bn3), maybe all three, maybe none. I can't deny its power, but I can say I'd rather have a reliable style. I am a big fan of BN3's guard buster and charge cube bugs though.
I don't know that I'd be willing to risk dealing with the forced movement bug of bug style in a pvp setting, but it's undoubtedly powerful, especially if you want to run dark license for serenade or dark aura.
Always loved the concept of Bug Style in BN3, but in later entries I never really messed with deliberately bugging the NaviCust. I see I have been missing out on opening up brand new strategies! Doing the time trials in BN3 for 100% made me fall in love with Snakes so I have a particular interest in the Panel Crack bug. The Emotion Bug just seems pretty generically good as well.
The fact that you have basically 20 more tiles to work with by going off the grid in BN6 just makes the game the most ripe for deliberately bugged navicust abuse.

Thanks for the video! I've only been using bugs for getting the Bug Style, but thinking back, I've been playing with a Snake folder and didn't think to deliberately use the panel crack bug with AirShoes.
1:38 and 1:42 those buster max bugs are fun (no idea why they didn't let you start or patch card with sliprunner to slide past encounters as sneakrun isn't reliable). I had 5 colors and randomly got invis and a green aura that negates damage. Thanks for calling it green invincibility 3:40

Came back to the game after 15 years and wanted to know something: Does the Emotion window bug trigger a Super Exhausted state? and does it allow the uses of beast out w/o triggering beast over ( if such match lasts that long )?
Man, crack step + Slime patch card sounds toxic. Steal tiles with charge shot; walk all over, cracking them; Then when your opponent gets them back, they either have air shoes or they still can't go back onto those tiles.

It's a reference to malware such as Bonzi Buddy where one of its main features is to tells you jokes.

13:07 Does this apply to ChargeCross as well? Does it refresh or stave off the cust bug even if you’re at Custom3 in the NaviCust?
@PenumbraVIII I'm not positive but I'm more sure that ChargeCross won't stave off CustBug if already Cust3

Doesn't bugged hp cust programs cause a flinch bug? Where when you get flinched it raises the level of your HP bug?
It gives you a Custom Screen bug yes! Chips like Lance and Wind Rack that push you raise the level as well

No, Emotion bug cannot trigger the Super Exhausted state.

@PROTOBLUES90 Crosses in BN6 are different than Soul's in BN4 or BN5. They last forever until you get hit with a weakness
