Pan Nation Steel Orchestra (PNSO) - Winter Fundraising Concert 2024.

The concert was held at the Gladesmore Community School in North London on Saturday 14th December 2024. This year PNSO decided to make donations to the Crisis at Christmas charity which provides shelter and food for the homeless on Christmas day.
MC on the night was Martin Jay. PNSO Manager, Chris Storey, welcomed the Mayor of Haringey,Sue Jameson, who thoroughly enjoyed herself on the night as she was seen dancing to the sweet sounds of steel produced by PNSO.
PNSO four bands performed on the night and as a tribute to the some of the past masters of the global steelband family the bands were called PNSO Samaroo, PNSO Philmore and PNSO Bradley led by Russell Roberts. The main PNSO band closed the concert with some catchy and captivating renditions that had the audience dancing in the aisles including the Mayor.
On the night, Chris Storey and the PNSO band paid homage via awards to Russell Roberts, Martin Jay and Pauline Birbal for their invaluable contributions to the band. There were some great craft stalls as well as delicious food and Christmas tipples to wash it all down. Their raffle was well supported and the prizes were amazing.
Everyone is now looking forward to PNSO’s Blocko and Panorama in the summer and their Winter 2025 concert.
