What if it creates a cure for cancer, possible blueprints for helicopters, mathematical models for predicting global trade, or an advanced philosophical argument that leads to discovering an accurate description of consciousness? AI currently generates artificial data to research in innumerable amounts of fields for analysis.

@ceeemm1901 maybe. Hard to say. We have what we call democracy to prevent revolutions. It causes some things to be better and others to be worse. But it's not really a choice.
I sure love to vote every 4 years so they do the opposite of what was promised. Instead we should be using our smartphones to vote stuff every week like we should in the 21st century.

We may soon learn what the implications are when (if) AI develops highly-sophisticated financial mechanisms humans do not fully understand but depend upon. Simply observe cryptocurrencies......a financial "asset" that few fully understand yet are using as an instrument for speculation. It seems to function well, until "something breaks", i.e., an unexpected deficiency in the technology creates a rapid financial contagion. After the dust settles, I suspect regulators might take Dr. Harari's potential prognostication more seriously.

Ai should be banned completly. the only reason that's not a thing, is because corupt goverment doesn't serve the general public interest but only corprate intrest.
Creating well working infrastructure that needs little human intervention is a good objective, I believe. I am not amongst the humans that will miss the good old days where we had bankers.
On the loss of control, AI will evolve and be able to explain its actions. You can have smaller AI systems whose only job is to explain AI plans, if you are worried about complotting AI.
Search for the AI that plays the game Diplomacy. It plays at nearly super human level in a game that requires comunicating with humans through chat.
I have reason to believe AI will be good and bad philosophically and spiritually, like I’m thinking don’t we want to know what causes autism and psychopathy? Maybe ambitions of immortality should be banned or something
since industrial revolution, almost nothing got banned, except terrorism.
If AI controlled financial markets, they would be just as unstable as they are now. The instability will just occur more quickly 😂 Like traffic expands to fill any new roads built, complexity expands to occupy intelligence. When playing tetris the game can always get faster (unless it's running on the NES lol). That is if you want it to of course.

Nobody wants to feel like a unwanted burden. Through austerity, society has become cold & calous. What's stopping a distant family member trying to convince a another family member to die because they may need their inheritance or can't afford to fund treatments? Also, what if you are terminally ill but are ok to live on? Through pressures from social services & Civil servants they may feel pressured into ending their life. Also, what if someone has power of atterney over a person that's ill? Will the ill person still have their say? Eug*n!cs throughout history has only ever effected the poor & vulnerable. I also sence that it's more a cost saving exercise & little to do with compassion & empathy._*
