Dear Sophie, thank you for such positive feedback. You cannot wish a better one from a professional. Honestly, you made my day. Thank you so much. Я рада, что мы с вами единомышленники. 🙂
You do a great job with the graphics -- the way you lay it out and organize it, the use of colors, it all really helps us to actually see what you're talking about. When it comes to learning Russian, your channel is one of the first I go to anytime I need clarification on something.
you see, I've started learning russian 3 weeks ago. as a nerd i am going so hard but i have been having issues with how the ppl teaching this language are sometimes unclear or not able to communicate very well with us students because of their bad english. . finding this video made me so happy. i really am proud. the lady's voice is so clear i can even understand the spelling of the russian as a complete beginner :p i recommend this for all and i really hope i will find everything i need in this channal. thank you.
so following on my previous comment i would want to say. you are by far the best teacher i have found so far and i have looked a lot. i really hope i will be able to learn a lot from you :) and i hope someday i will be able to support this channel more :) good luck
Отличная лекция уважаемая учительница Ольга Джарелл. Вы повторили несколько раз одно и то же предложение, и это помогает мне быстро учиться. Я из Бангладеш.
@@AmazingRussian Yesterday, I purchased your lessons on intonation from your website. I'm really excited to listen and use the techniques. Thanks for your great materials. 😍😃
Bovo Zangief , good question. Yes, it is used instead of «но» and «и», but it is a more literary word, than conversational. This video is for beginners, and I do not think that they should use «да» in spoken Russian.
13:52 here it shows ya NEPLOXO GOVORYU po-russki and ya pishu po-russki esho NE OCHEN XOPOSHO. first there is the adverb before the verb (which i thought signified a statement) then in the second half, it shows the adverb after the verb (which i thought signified an answer to a question. I’m a little confused. Does it matter where we put the adverb when writing these sentences regarding language skills? Please explain if you can, thank you!
Does the conjunction "да" (with the same meaning as "и") ever occurs in everyday speech in Russian, for instance: "ты да я"? I have never heard it in spoken Russian, but I have read that it exists. If so, is that conjunction somewhat related to the Ukrainian one "та" (and)?
You are right. The conjunction да is used in the meanings и and но mostly in idioms or set expressions and almost never in contemporary spoken Russian. I have no expertise on the Ukrainian language.
Thank you again for an excellent video. I used to find these conjunctions confusing but I think I've got it now. Is it correct to say that you use HO where in German you would use SONDERN? ''Er ist nicht arm, sondern reich.'' Greetings from Namibia!
Cédric Kouamé N'Zi , это долго объяснять. Иногда НУ используется в разговорной речи и не несёт особого значения. It’s like a conversational filler. Ну привет. Ну как тебе сказать? Ну не знаю.
i cannot understand it because there is no translation for the sentences when it is being explained. can someone help me understand? i still don't get it. specifically the two "ands" it has been a little frustrating finding an explanation for this lol

epukiro15 , I am not sure about German. 🙂
Amazing alright)))
Sheran Bhattacharyya , thanks!
are "Ho" and "A" sometimes interchangeable?
Ephesian Rose , I do not think so. However, interchanges sometimes happen in common speaking.
Здравствуйте мадам. Я хотел бы узнать какую разницу между 《но》 и 《ну》
Cédric Kouamé N'Zi , это долго объяснять. Иногда НУ используется в разговорной речи и не несёт особого значения. It’s like a conversational filler. Ну привет. Ну как тебе сказать? Ну не знаю.
