Sir you have an amazing product !! I have watch many videos about this product and what is the best way to buy one? I live in Nevada in the United States I have Milwaukee batteries
How many hives can be treated with one baterry charged? Michael beekeeper from Roumania. I've seen in the video...with 2 batterries you can treat 40 hives.... Thank you!
The 18V version requires 1.1Ah energy to heat up the furnace, after which 1Ah provides enough power for 9-12 two-gram treatments (depending of the ambient temperarture). There are many type of batterries with different Ah. Some are 2Ah, others 4-5-6-9-etc. With this information you can calculate.
I just received it today from you, a solid vaporizer,, fells great in my hand. I need to know what is the recommended dewalt batter to use,, 18v or will a 20v be ok.. I found some new one on market place., they have 20 v 5ah,, 20v 8 ah, and 20v 10ah,, which one do you recommend, if they are all comfortable let me know.. I apologize for my ignorance. Thank you, Matt.
Hi Matt, Glad you like it. 20V and 18V both are ok. Depending on how many colonies, and with what dose you want to treat, I recomend from 5-10Ah batteries. All are ok. Be carefull not to discharge below 15 V, even better to stop at 15,4V.
Hi, do I need to change any settings on the instavap . Do I just attach the battery and turn it on and wait for the right temperature or is already set or programmed. Thanks .
- Wait till the device cools down below 80 degrees C, then pour ~1/3 dl of water into the dispenser entry tube, put back the dispenser and shake gently. Remove the dispenser and carefully pour out the water. Repeat 2-3 times. - You can wash the dispenser separately, agitate it in water and then allow the bowl and dispenser to dry. - If necessary, clean the outside of the appliance with a slightly damp cloth.

Hi Nick, It depend on the purity of the oxalic acid dehydrate. Some of them are leaving more residue. I would say that after 100-200 treatments, it is good to make a rinse. Yes, it is good to wait till it goes under 100 degrees, so it will not be dangerous. After several 100 threatens, sometimes it slows down, and sometimes when you push the dispenser, nothing happens for a while. It happens because some coating build up inside the heated chamber. Then add some water inside the 25mm tube, and put back the dispenser, and power up the deice, to boil out inside. The temperature will stall at around 100 degrees C, and it will boil, once the temperature starts to rise to 150 degrees, it is empty of water. This cleans out really well. Please be careful to pour water only inside the tube where the dispenser goes, and not around it, because the water would reach the insulation, and that would cool the device, and you would not be able to go up to working temperature.

Hello my name is PASCAL, I am in Canada/Quebec. I would like to know how much $. and if it takes Dewalt batteries? This product looks very interesting. I only have 10 hives.
Hi. if you consider that you have to buy a generator, cords, petrol, and all the hassle, the picture may be better. Also, people usually manage to treat with InstantVap their hives in half the time compared to corded version. If using 2 tools / person in commercial beekeeping, you can treat one hives in 15 sec / 2g. But I understand that if someone has only some hives, and already set up for the corded vaporizer, it sounds pricy.

How about a field demo ?
Check this out: ruclips.net/video/WVnitIAnjZ4/видео.html Although I do not recommend using 4 gram doses. 2 gram will do just fine.
