I appreciate the feedback! I'll have to get over there and check it out one day. Totally different vibe on that side of the state. I bet housing is more expensive there as well, right? How come most people from the midwest make it to the west side of the state and most NY'er's or east coasters settle on the east side of Florida? The highway? 🤷♂
@@RCAVEMANS Hey Ron😃👋🏼 I appreciate the feedback buddy. But you’re gonna hate me 🫣 I don’t like seafood😂 I moved to the wrong place, right 😂🤦🏻♂️ My family never ate it when I was a kid so never developed a taste for it. I will put this on my list though, and take friends there if you recommend it 😃👍🏼 I have eaten at the Mexican joint across the street, Grand Hacienda…awesome food. 🌮 I appreciate you watching and for the feedback. 😃🙌🏼
St Pete was the best kept secret in terms of cities in the US. Word got out and it has exploded in growth. The amount of new construction is astonishing. It has a little bit of everything and I am very happy to be here 🙂
@@dirkjackson8939 Thanks for the feedback and for watching Dirk😃🙌🏼🇺🇸 It’s an amazing city. I’m so glad I’m here tearing up the pickle ball courts. 😂 I bet you’ve seen an astonishing change over the last 10 years.
@@GrantWarrington Seen change is an understatement! When I first moved here (2004), I thought "why did I do this" especially coming from Orange County CA. I used to have to drive to Tampa for nightlife etc. Now, Tampa comes to St Pete for the restaurants/nightlife. I went from "why did I do this" to "I'm so glad I did this". In my opinion, they are developing St Pete with a real plan for the future. The big buildings will bring wealthy individuals, which will bring money for retail, which will demand jobs, which will attract more people. The new stadium area will really kick things into high gear.
@@dirkjackson8939 I appreciate your feedback man! I moved here from Detroit area about 15 months ago and just bought our new home. That had to be a tough move from Orange County to St Pete back then. 2004 was not a great time to live in St Pete. I hope you purchased a house and got to take advantage of the appreciating market! 😃💪🏼I totally agree with what you're saying will happen in St Pete with all the development. It feels so good to live in a city that is growing, and we also get to live in a place that people come to on vacation! I've never experienced that in my life. There's a reason people make TikTok videos about our city. Because it's truly paradise. Thanks again man! 😃🙏🏼
@@GrantWarrington The home I purchased here is basically what led me to St Pete. Two level, 6 bedroom (3 bedrooms/kitchen on each level) for only 278k. The taxes are super low since I'm homesteaded. The amount of appreciation since is ridiculous. I agree, if people are planning to move to this area, they should do it in the next couple of years. There are still cute fixer uppers for decent prices. Prices will probably drop in the short term due to insurance issues. In the long term, the people who wait will definitely be priced out of the market.
@@dirkjackson8939 Man.... I agree with you 100%!! In fact I'm going to make a video about what you just said and I'll tag you in the video. This is absolutely the time to buy a house in St Pete especially with the price correction currently going on. There's deals out there. I just dropped the best neighborhood to buy a home in in my last video "How to buy a hurricane proof home"🤫 Appreciate the feedback my friend🙏🏼

I still prefer Hallandale Beach Florida more it’s a beautiful city with a growing communities and businesses and a good nightlife.❤❤
