YEAH! Thank you for the explainer vid. Metropolix seems daunting to learn, for a relative newcomer. I always appreciate videos focusing of how an interesting module works, and some patch ideas. Great stuff.
Thanks for taking my suggestion, Melvin. I really like dTroy and if I could afford and had space for Metropolix I would like it a lot in hardware. Your final explanation has a step count of 3 so some changes you made in the later steps did not sound, but it is all fine, thank you for teaching us.
Thanks for this. It was a bit harder to follow than it needed to be because you had it playing a pretty abstract patch with some random elements - if you'd stuck with the very simple patch you used at the beginning, the features of the dTrOY would have been easier to understand.
Hi, I've studied ZouMai and Encore, but because of ignorance and a very poor demonstration by Omri I never thought much of d' Troy. Your video changed that. Suggestions I have a couple, but the first one I was thinking, Dejavu by Orange line, is out of spite, I think the module is a piece of shit, but I was curious to see what you think of it. If you find it worthless, don't need to make a video, I have other more interesting suggestions.
I wish it had accumulators like the real deal. That’s one of my favorite aspects of the Metropolix as a sequencer.

Thank you! It's still not as feature packed as the hardware but still a fun module to get familiar with 😃

You’re welcome, thanks for suggesting this module, sometimes I'm out of ideas what to cover next so that's really helpful 👍

Good point, I'll take that with me for my next video, appreciate the feedback 😃
great work
💥
Cool! 👏
uffff what a sound 🫶🏻
😄🙏
Bidoo has two versions of an elektron style sequencer but unfortunately they both seem buggy...
Ah that's too bad, I'll see what interesting stuff they have to offer in addition to this one

Cool I'll check it out!
Strange that i did not see this, none of this maker, i frequently look in the library for new modules that usually are on top.
I just heard it's not new, but still new to me 😄
These Bidoo modules have been out a couple years at least now (they are awesome for some physically inspired & chaos stuff!).
It's "now" in VCV? Is "now" multiple years long? 😂
Oke oke, that was a little exaggerated 😅
coooooool it makes bleeps and bllooops
Haha that's what we all want, right? 😄
Not very beautiful to hear musically. Too bad!
I'm just showing how it works, the rest is up to you.
