    I like the face expressions of the participants. The first guy in the top row seemed to freeze once he heard the testimony. The last guy in the top row was like "daaamn". And the dude who is second from the left in the bottom row - watch his expression when the other guy is speaking. Priceless. 🤣

    Great information- I basically watched it twice.
    One question, though. You say, "Rather than developing a custom solution you are qualifying them for the solution you already did in Step 1".
    But step 1 was a free Yelp, LinkedIn, or Google Business page redo.
    I didn't catch where an actual repeatable solution was being developed.
    Did I miss it?

      @@DoubleStack Thanks a mil for responding.
      See, when it comes to the part of actually drafting out my email content, I'm having trouble with trying to put in how much good this potential client has to benefit from my service. It lengthens the email (unnecessarily esp on the client side). Please, what can I do about this? And in what order can I better put my major subjects so it all makes sense to my clients.
      And is there any of your videos that particularly talks on strategic ways to meet, convince and work with new web design clients?
      And I also tried your method in how I understood, I tried in like 3 different ways, I was really looking forward to that conversion rate, but I don't know, it's not working. I'm probably doing something wrong. I just need some help.

    Do you need to do a test run with at least one niche client to get to know if you can deliver on everything before you go all in?

    • @DoubleStack
      @DoubleStack  Год назад

      Yes, usually you have a "Pilot Program" where you work with at least one real-world/live client at discounted rates before you go all in with your normal pricing. During the Pilot Program you're refining your offer, building your confidence, and getting at least one awesome case study. All of this sets you up to make it easier to land all your future clients. There are several different patterns for how you structure the Pilot Program that we can go over together in Blue Theory. We've got a 7-day money-back guarantee going on right now, so we can work together for a week to make sure it is the right fit for you. So, if you want, hop into Blue Theory with me, and I'll help you set up your Pilot Program. Lee.Blue/

    Hey Lee, thank you for your channel and everything you do for us web devs.
    I have a question about something you mentioned in this video.
    You said how something we can offer for free is doing a potential Google business profile optimization. While that does sound interesting, wouldn't the client be sketched out since we would have to sign into their businesses google account to change it? Wouldn't that scare them away? I might be wrong about that since I know nothing of Google business profiles, just websites haha. Thank you so much for all of your replies and helping me and everyone else out.

    • @DoubleStack
      @DoubleStack  Год назад +1

      You do it live together with the client so. The first part of the call, you talk a little bit and build rapport. The entire point of the call is to build rapport, really. You're not asking them to blindly give you access to their account and you never ask for their password or anything. There's an entire process that I teach on Blue Theory. If this is something you're interested in doing, hop into Blue Theory with me and I'll walk you through all the step-by-step details. Blue Theory is set up with a 7-day money-back guarantee so we can work together for a week and if it's not the best thing you ever did for your business, just let me know and you'll get a full refund.
      When you get in, introduce yourself real quick in the Water Cooler (discussion) space. Let us know a little about your business and what your biggest challenge is right now. Tag me in that post. I'll welcome you to the family and we'll start working on getting you some clients. I think you'll love it. See you there! Here's the link: Lee.Blue/

    I think this is all very useful information but I thought this was meant to be about a practical way to Unlock No-Cost Leads? Instead it is about how to set out your stall, communicate effectively and maximise your position. Getting leads has to come from somewhere and I feel this title is a little misleading. Who are you reaching out to without having information for the interested customer to begin with?

    • @DoubleStack

      It's a numbers game. 99% won't respond.

    • @DoubleStack
      @DoubleStack  Год назад +1

      Yeah, making those connections is a little hard, but we've got some strategies that are producing 10% - 30% response rates even though it's cold outreach. I can work through the process with you as part of Blue Theory. It's not complicated, but there are three major steps that we need to cover. Making contact with your outreach is actually the SECOND step - not the first.
      First, you'll need a good offer that targets a specific niche. It can't just be generic services because it's crazy hard to get clients when you're offering services. It's so much easier when you're offering a results-driven solution.
      The second step is to build an outreach campaign to get leads coming in. This is dependent on the first step because you need to know who your offer is for before you can target the right audience in your marketing.
      The third step is closing the deal. I am a big fan of "small favor" marketing because that allows you to turn cold leads into paying clients in one 45-minute call. It takes a little practice to develop this process, but once you've got it down, you'll have a business that you can scale to 6-figures working from wherever you want with a laptop.

    Hello Lee, im a new web developer and wanted to ask if you would be willing to join a quick 10 minute call to give me some guidance or advice, and thank you for all this free information you posted.

    • @DoubleStack
      @DoubleStack  Год назад +1

      I normally do have an option to book calls with me. They are 1-hour calls and the cost is $1,000. I do offer a money-back guarantee such that if at the end of the call you don't feel like you got at least $1,000 of value, just let me know and you get a full refund. Right now, I'm sold out of these calls for the next couple of months. The only way to get a one-on-one call with me right now is with an annual Blue Theory membership. Lee.Blue/#join
      Another option is to join Blue Theory with a monthly membership and attend one of our group calls on Thursdays at 2:00 PM Eastern Time. We can speak one-on-one there, just with other people listening in. That's a great way to get personalized coaching at a fraction of the cost of private mentoring.

    You can't scale or productize your service this way if your offering multiple or custom solutions.

    • @DoubleStack
      @DoubleStack  Год назад +2

      One of the primary concepts is to NOT offer custom solutions and instead to develop the solution first. The problem with offering "custom" solutions is that you're not _really_ offering a custom solution. You're actually just offering consulting and then hoping for the best. If it is custom, then by definition, nobody else has it. It hasn't been tested or proven and, therefore, might not actually be a solution in the sense that it might not actually solve anything. I'm a very strong proponent of developing the Solution First so that your marketing can be crystal clear about who your solution is for, the problem you're solving, and what the outcome is going to be. I guarantee that with the Solution First agency model, you'll be able to get more leads and more clients at higher prices while also getting your clients better results.

    • @DoubleStack
      @DoubleStack  Год назад +8

      Only target people you know can afford you. Look for clients with:
      - $1,000+ customers (annual value)
      - $100,000+ gross revenue potential
      Those two metrics alone will get you in the ballpark for finding good clients.

    • @DoubleStack
      @DoubleStack  Год назад +3

      It depends a lot on what the free thing is. I'm definitely NOT suggesting anybody build entire websites for free or anything like that. But a little small favor here and there has been extremely effective for us.

  • @davechipperson2856
    @davechipperson2856 Год назад

    In my experience people who get stuff for free will not respect it or y9our time building/creating it, I will never work for free, ever again, to me this is terrible advice.

    • @DoubleStack
      @DoubleStack  Год назад +2

      There's certainly a danger of getting taken advantage of if you're going to offer things for free. I'm very careful about the type of stuff I offer for free to make sure there's no scope creep. I also want to make sure the thing I'm doing cleanly segues into my paid services. It's not the ONLY way to get leads, but if you do it right it can be incredibly effective. Thanks for watching the video even if it's not the right strategy for you.
