Do i need to download it or wait for the update status instead?
It’s up to you you could just wait for the update status which is actually what I might do instead of rushing to install it because when it comes to upgrading like this you know there’s always bugs, And I’ve learned not to rush with it anymore, But it’s all up to you.

Hello man I looked for the setting in the video but I didn't find but I opened the bios thing and I couldn't find trusted computing so I enabled the most closeest setting but nothing happened it's still isn't showing tpm

Here’s what to do
Enter BIOS by repeatedly tapping ‘Del’ or ‘F2’ on startup of the PC.
Enter the ‘Advance’ Tab. Click on "CPU Configuration":
Click on "AMD fTPM Switch"( if you have the option to Enable, set it to Enable, skip to step “Got to exit lab…”.).
Select ‘AMD CPU fTPM’.
Go to the Exit tab and select "Save changes and exit". Upon reboot, press "Del" or "F2" to head back into BIOS.
Enter the "Advanced" tab.
Select "Trusted Computing".
For option "Security Device Support" - Ensure it is set to ‘"Enable".

My PC has FTPM (Firmware) TPM as I have an AMD CPU and it was set to discreet. I had to take it off discreet in the BIOS and now my TPM 2.0 is enabled and my PC is ready for Windows 11. Thank you for uploading this video, big help in solving this issue thanks to Windows weird TPM requirement.

I did this everything worked correctly, but when I go to the Windows Update Page it still tells me this pc doesn’t currently meet all the system requirements despite the pc health check telling me it is.
That will eventually change on its own mine did that as well. It’s on Microsoft’s end. So check it later today or tomorrow

It should be up to date enough then, and it might just work automatically, but check for any advanced tabs sometimes it’s under those
It might be under something called Intel platform trust technology, that's where mine was

Searched RUclips for enabling TPM, opened up like 8 videos, this was the first in that list. Was straight to the point, wasn't necessary but the info on whether it being enabled or not before opening PC Health Check was aight, and the biggest plus, you didn't record the entirety of the video on camera, just when you were in BIOS, unlike a few of the thumbnails for videos that I opened 🤣

Great video. Although I have an AMD Motherboard ,some of the settings in BIOS were very different than from your video. However ,now that I knew what to look for ,it didn't take much time for me to figure out how to enable TPM. Now my computer meets the requirements to install Windows 11 ( when it becomes available for my specific rig ) So thank you very much for this clear and to the point walkthrough !!!

@@MYLEESS I'm not sure which model you own.I have a X470-PLUS.Also , my motherboard is from 2020.Do you know how old your PC/motherboard is?Anyway,if I remember correctly , once you're in BIOS , there is a " Configuration/Settings " tab you click on , and from there you can enable TPM.This is a hard question to answer since every motherboard's BIOS menu can be slightly different.If i were you, i'd look up your motherboard's model menu ( then just google for the PDF file that contains the menu ) , and from there I am sure it'll tell you exactly how to enable it.Sorry I wasn't much help.

Protip: An easier way to access BIOS from the desktop is by pressing shift and clicking restart simultaneously. Then troubleshoot> advanced options> uefi firmware settings

Thanks and sorry to hear that, but if your system is newer then it might still work for windows 11 even though you can’t find that setting, you can run that checker tool and see if it’s compatible first
@@jamiewagner You are not alone I have the same problem. I would wait Microsoft may remove the TPM requirement for running Windows 11. Windows 10 also needs TPM, but Microsoft does not enforce it. Is running Windows 11 TPM really a requirement I don't think so. Microsoft and PC hardware manufacturers are second and third party partners, so thy are pushing you to buy their newer hardware.
Ik this is as a year ago however I just faced this issue and what I had to do is go to advanced settings and then go onto pch-fe configuration and the the platform trust technology is on there

Enabled TPM, health check recognized the change and said my PC is ready for windows 11. But the change hasn’t been recognized by windows update. It still says my PC doesn’t meet the minimum requirements. Any advice here?

Same problem here. Couldn't find anything online to help with the issue.
Mine did that as well, It now shows up perfectly fine at the windows update screen. It's windows update that's doing that, it's on their end, so let it go for a while and then check back later that's what I did and mine is okay now. Their is no given time frame they said it will be a different time frame for everyone.

Your tutorial did help me enable the TPM, but the Windows update service still told me my computer didn't meet the minimum requirements for Windows 11, despite the Health Check app being cleared on all categories.
that's a normal issue that people were having it's on Microsoft's side

A couple of Notes and possible repeats. I looked into this after Geek Squad kept telling me I needed to buy a new computer. TPM has more than one name. TPM is base for AMD processors TPP is base for Intel processors. I am confused about what this is but from my understanding is it is a built in component of your CPU. Like I say that is my understanding and it might be wrong? I have an old i5 processor on an ASROCK motherboard so mine was in fact showing as TPP and was under security. I have watched other videos stating it is in advanced tab. Where it will be is based on motherboard since the manufacturers design the layout of the BIOS. Anyway great video and I hope that does help save someone some money. Keep up the great work
