The vast majority of fans are closer to the hard-core OT4 side of the spectrum, but have "bias" members in varying degrees. It's pretty much the same for most idol groups. But Blackpink has such a huge fandom, and the individual members each also have very large solo fandoms, so there are more of the hard-core solo stans numerically (but not really in percentage terms) popping up around social media with extreme solo fan comments, which the Kpop gossip/news media hypes up and magnifies to create more drama for clicks and views.
