Taemin is such a huge MJ fan and is heavily influenced by him and could be seen in his other songs, choreos, fashion, and mv’s. Tbh I’m sad that MJ ain’t here to see taemin’s growth. I’m sure he would’ve love to meet taemin and probably would’ve preformed with him. Highly recommend criminal, danger, move, thirsty, and drip drop.

don’t know if this was influenced by MJ or pure coincidence but taemins “drip drop” performance mv and MJs black or white mv were filmed in the same place. it’s a very popular filming spot so it’s a possible coincidence (the flinstones and star trek was filmed there)

Finally you have found him! The undisputed King of K-pop! Best dancer in the biz (fight me, I have receipts). Don't bother comparing him to anyone, he lives in the stratosphere, apart, on his own. He was a legend before he left his teens. He's literally creating his own genre of dance. TAEMIN is THE LIVING EMBODIMENT OF THE IDEAL IDOL. taemin is a true example of "working hard can make you perfect" he joined SM with no professional dance background when most of popular kpop dancers have it. he developed his vocal skills with effort and dedication

Taemin is probably the first idol who brought and started the artistic and ethereal concept in kpop and made it famous. now many groups tend to do those concepts in their MVs and dances and vocals. Taemin is a GENIUS!
I remember listening to Taemin for the first time and instantly becoming a fan. This man is on a whole other level
His group Shinee are legends and Taemin himself is the definition of a complete artist. He is te idol of idol: it means for the past ten years+ other idols wanted to become idol watching him. You can found hundreds of idols referencing to him as their role model. He is one of the pilar of kpop. Him and his group paved the way for other groups today. Just for information him and Shinne debuted in 2008 he was 14 years old at the time and Shinee is still together today.

I loved your reactions because that’s how I feel every time I see him. He’s so unique, an amazing singer, a dancing king and a mesmerizing performer. The last few years he’s been able to have more input, to the point he now is involved in all aspects. From the moment I first heard and saw him perform in 2017, I was hooked and he is my favourite period across all genres and countries. He’s also very popular in Japan. He sells out all his concerts in S. Korea and Japan in the large stadiums.
I won’t repeat the other songs/mvs already mentioned but I do recommend you check out his live performance of Black Rose on The Stage. I’m very excited that you now have been introduced to Taemin.
