I actually wonder, what happens at 21:13, when it gives the opportunity for the player to get away from Sonic instead of coming close to him to stop the suicide?
There are three I learned from this premiere 1. That Executor is alive, which is bad 2.SunFIRE X Kostas does not exist 3. Everyone and Kostas was awesome
The Executor mention thing about him being “still alive” at the end was actually just a joke. Executor DID actually die at the end and got sent back to hell according to the end plot.
Isnt Sonic based off DBZ? Like come on you need 7 Items to do something special, Super Sonic aka Super Saiyan, Tails flying the same way as Goku did when he had the Saiyan tail.
It's a character that threatened and nearly killed all his loved ones with his body. This should have a big arc for Sonic getting through this. Nightmares/shaking/ The works. This is by far the worst violation any character did to Sonic. Chaos, Eggman, even the 6 never violated Sonic to this degree.

I think it is just a glimpse of executor's life,an Easter egg.Just like falling in the pit of Angel island in spirits of hell kills tails but shows you an Easter egg refferincing nightmare's beginning tails' level..
I think it‘a intentional because the part takes lots of trial and error and the creator put infinite lives so people who struggle with this section don’t have to reset the game over and over again

He likely attempts it, but Executor takes over and stops it, since he needs his body, (but I haven’t seen it either, so I don’t know).
He won’t commit suicide until you got to him I’ve tried it before
