I've still never eaten a s'more before, so I would like to try those ice cream sandwiches you've just sampled just for the taste of them. If I was a guest at your house, I would try everything you've sampled to find out how good they really taste.
"Frozen dairy dessert" labeling is an immediate pass for me, too. These seem a step up from store-brand ice cream sandwiches though; those can be downright inedible! (And unmeltable, too..) And I haven't seen the stuffed puffs ice cream tubs in my area, either. Tbf I don't really look, but I've only seen the soft serve ones too.
In a pinch I would get these lol i.e. if I have sudden urge for s'mores but I agree, I would go for Ice cream if I want something cold. I do think of s'mores as a warm dessert.
A previous study showed that eating ice cream for breakfast improved alertness and reaction time. Plus it makes people happy…eliciting similar brain response as winning money! Don’t give up your oatmeal, but an occasional a.m. treat might not be a bad thing! 😋
I thought these were stuffed marshmallows so instant disappointment 😂. Idea shins great but agree with you ice cream all the way. Thanks for the review.
I am wondering about the rules of US labeling. Thought it need to be very strict but what I do not understand is for here the example of the caramel; 1. One sandwich is 200 cal, four are 810. 2. The cholesterol content of a pack of four is three times more than a single one. 3. The protein content of a pack of four is five times more than a single one. Could someone explain if they know how I need to read US labeling? Thanks a lot! Caramel sounds tasty btw but it needed to be named caramel if you can not detect salt, I believe.
IMO, they are allowed to round the numbers up or down to suit their best interest. Small companies aren’t required to give any information at all. It’s not right.
@@TamiDunn the FDA allows a 20% margin of error on food labeling. Most prepackaged foods have about 8% more calories than is listed. It can be even higher than that due the FDA’s lack of oversight in the U.S. or lower. 🙄
I don’t mind rounding numbers for most things but when it’s very misleading or coupled with a truly unrealistic serving size I get upset.. like cooking spray… 0 calories per serving… but truly most modest servings are at least 10 times the serving size…
@@emilybilbow4990 cooking spray isn’t a “true” zero calorie food which drives me crazy. The FDA allows anything less than 5 calories to be a zero calories food. I wish they would be more precise and hold food companies to a higher standard.
I like the concept of these. I agree, if I am eating ice cream I am going for the real indulgent good stuff. The Salted Caramel would be my pick as well.
I have to totally agree with you if I’m going to have a treat it’s going to be ice cream over a frozen dairy dessert. However I wouldn’t mind tasting a piece of one…the salted caramel. Thank you for a terrific review; it’s always appreciated n enjoyed. Have a sunny and bright Wednesday. 😊😊
I thought they new new but this is from six months ago lol just got one from Walmart today
They look so good!

Sounds delicious
I have to try this!!!
They look good
Great video! Both look good, I can overlook the fact they are a frozen dairy dessert but I agree that real ice cream is the way to go!
I totally agree!

It odd we have never gotten them.

Yes! Normally s’mores are warm and gooey.
I am always so disappointed when I see something that looks good, but then read "frozen dairy dessert" on the box. I refuse to buy it.
Good for you! If we didn’t have this channel, I would never buy it either.

I know. You guys really take one for the team by reviewing it. Lol.
I don’t buy that crap either…
It’s so strange an ice cream dessert video was uploaded at 6:00 in the morning
The videos are scheduled. So they could have recorded the video last week and she scheduled it to drop this morning.
I can’t think of a better time 🤗
