OMAD since 2021 and 42 hour autophagy fasting for about a year and the rim of visceral fat hip to hip simply does not shrink. Xlean was my first intro to TVA and now yours included. Is it just a matter of patience on my part? Since Feb of 2021 have dropped 6 belt holes ... yeah 60 pounds without refined carbs in my daily routine. Oh I am 63 and heavy carbs since my twenties.🤣
Congrats on the weight loss! 👏 TVA exercises won't do anything for fat loss. They only strengthen the muscle. I would look at your nutrition plan, because there are definitely things you could modify there for better results. What helped you lose weight initially may not ideal now that you're leaner.
It depends on who does the teaching! 😊 Many physical therapists and strength coaches prefer to maintain the arch (so you strengthen the TVA in the neutral spine position). In Pilates I think they tend to train a flat back. I personally find the flat back position is easier for beginners to learn, so I often use both types. Hope that answers your question. 😀

Do you want to breath in between the exhales at 1:33?
Just allow whatever happens naturally. Your breath will just release a bit naturally after the forceful exhale.

can these exercises help with exxcessive arch at the low back?
They’re not specifically designed for that. But if your excessive arch is due to weak TVA then they may help.
What keeps me from having a flat stomach? --> maybye hyperlordose, due to too much sitting etc.
So.. suck in your belly without inhaling and breathhold and squeeze your tva is not the good way? Can you help me please? ❤
Why is it that we keep an arched back with the lag raises? Because normally you're taught to not have a gap between the lower back and floor.
