Bro im a beginner to and i need to play basket case (on an electric guitar ofc) soom for a performance. HOwever all i got at home is an acoustic one. Ill get to play the electric a couple of times before the performance (mind ya I've never owned an electric and only played it twice) Any tips and tricks because I'm not very confident right now TwT
@@scarletflame5274 i started on acoustic and electric is way easier than acoustic. You just gotta stretch your hands enough to feel comfortable with those power chords
This whole time I thought ur supposed to use your fretting hand to do it so I’ve been struggling all these ads for nothing 😭💀☠️ well at least I know now since looked it up.
I purchased my first Stratocaster a few day’s ago and find palm muting very difficult. I’ve only owned Ibanez and never had an issue. Is this just a Fender Stratocaster thing? I’ve read a bunch of threads on this. I don’t know if maybe if it needs adjustments? The action is super low and literally place my hand completely behind the saddles and barely any pressure sometimes completely mutes the sound. I don’t wanna return it but at the same time I’m like a 7/10 on satisfaction with it. Can someone offer some advice?
@@user-kw5tc3zs8k yeah I ended up trading up to a Les Paul. But funny now I’m in the market for another Strat. Got my eye on a Professional 2. I honestly don’t think I gave it a chance before getting rid of it.
I’m a beginner and I’m learning basket case, so to see someone using a tele like me and showing me exactly how to palm mute was a lifesaver. Thanks!
Ah the ultimate palm muting song

Ohhhhhhhhh man that’s how they make that sound .... I’m just learning and I feel so silly it was something that simple to get that sound.
DJENTly resting
Exactly what I was looking for as I couldn't understand what palm muting was.. thank you!! It all makes sense now

I'm having this issue now. Palm muting in my Jackson no problem, on the tele it's fucked. Did you ever figure it out?

how do you PM if you curl all your knuckles for speed like benrth?
I’m trying to do one step closer 😭
Gibson is the guitar brand of tyrants, fender is that of heroes.
Thought you were gonna play fuwa fuwa time at first but its a little too low
So palm muting is just resting your strumming hand on the strings while playing?
As a non guitar player, I've always wondered how this was done haha
alot easier than i thought lol
anyone konw .. what's the female guitarist strumming ? sounds good...
Sounds like the Pixies.
What is the chord he's playing?
It looks like a g power chord
@@lukeretard2557 thanks dude
Fender Me gusto el video con esta preciosa WOMEN RUBIA, excelente el dúo, los mejores demostradores de FENDER en un mismo lugar. like N-113
The intro does not highlight the technique of the video. Keep content relevant.
