In order to keep our recommendations up to date, we maintain a 'Buyer's Guide' (with a wide spectrum of models, and a lot of technical and lifestyle-related information). Organizing our recommendations this way makes it easier to include good models that we haven't made review-videos for yet, as well as to remove models which have developed unforeseen wear-issues over time, or which have been weakened by the manufacturer in their current iterations. You can access the guide (in addition to our 4-part video series on Choosing the Right Stroller for your Lifestyle, and other helpful content), as well as contact us directly on Patreon: www.patreon.com/posts/stroller-buyers-37953864
These materials are also available via channel membership on RUclips: www.youtube.com/@BarnevognverkstedNo/membership , and BuyMeaCoffee: buymeacoffee.com/thestrollerworkshop

Love the technical comparison between the two strollers! Keep it up as it’s a very unique perspective, such as brakes longevity, build structure quality, benefits with rough terrains, and seat comfortability👌

I agree with your assessment of the two vehicles. I have tested each in person, and while the MINU v2 is slightly better at getting over sidewalk bumps outdoors, I would have to give the Buttefly the edge here in Tokyo for overall ease of use, including handlebar height and size.

The butterfly's mesh panel in the extended sun shade makes it really unsuitable for Australia due to the extreme UV and heavy rains we have. I hope they bring out a revised hood for the Australian market

What is the angle for the bugaboo seat when upright. All so far seem to have a slight but sign I can’t recline

I really hope the butterfly could roll like a luggage. It almost could, but the wheel would be stuck by friction when folded. It seems that a minor engineering tweak would solve this, then we may attach a longer strap or handle to pull it around.

Any tipping issues for the butterfly ?

Not that I've heard about. So far the only really legitimate issue I've encountered with the Butterfly is people saying that the seat-liner wears down a bit too quickly. :)

Thanks so much! I don’t care much if it wears down! I don’t mind seeing wear other than brake wearing away…. I’ve heard the butterfly can tip but idk if parents werw putting too much weight on the handle bar. I have the minu, but want something that will for sure fit in the overhead

@@Mommyingthis I’ve had my butterfly almost a week and it does tip. I knew it was expected though since I’ve seen people say it is tippy! I’m still not sure if I’m going to keep it or go for the minu v2, I was very torn between the two but went with the butterfly for the higher seat back and slightly smaller fold.

@@samantharoyder160 thanks for the response! I actually have the minu v1!! I actually love it so much! I just want it for overhead bin ease which is why I’m trying to find one. I actually went with another overhead bin option… I know minu can but sometimes I’ve heard it also didn’t always fit and didn’t want to deal with that for trips. If you’re fine gate checking it I think it’s totally fine! I love it! It’s a good size and so durable and sturdy!

@@samantharoyder160 also, by 3.5 year old is 41 inches and the butterfly straps pushed her shoulders down and she said it hurt her at its longest setting, so the high seat back didn’t really help us (which is why we looked at it initially)
