    my best meal is a kymali kasarli pide from the small pide cafe in my village, I know it's only Turkish pide but it's a family run cafe, always perfect with a fresh salad and of course cay (tea) , it's not just the food but the people and surroundings too..
    best wishes

    I like Imam bayildi. It means the Imam fainted. I was told he fainted because it tasted so good. Another version is he fainted when he heard the cost of the ingredients 😂 It doesn't make a lot of sense as it is just aubergine tomatoes rice and maybe expensive olive oil?
    Karna yarik is the same but with minced meat. Lezetli😋
    In fact anything with patlican aubergine in it I love.
    I have been going to Turkey for many years. I like the tradition of free tea after a meal. I have found in recent years that sometimes they don't serve it at all or you have to pay for it. They also used to come around with lemon cologne and squirt it on your hands after eating. This rarely happens now . Its shame to see these traditions being eroded away.

    • @adanvazquez5663
      @adanvazquez5663 5 лет назад +4

      Hahaha
      Bu cümle doğru fakat... Turkish people use to use present progressive more than simple present tense. Seni öpmek ''istiyorum'' could sound more natural.

      Ahmed, for your information they are the same word. The English adopted the French word of “chef” to mean chief.
