Foil Sailing in Choppy Waves

Another outing with the prototype FlyTri foiling trimaran. This time we had 12 to 18 knots of wind and a lot of chop leftover from a few very windy days, The FlyTri with its forward sensors performed effortlessly in these conditions with high average speeds achieved both up and downwind. The unlimited stability that comes from incidence controlled "T" foils provides great power and security and the central foot pedal helm system means you always have 2 free hands to trim the sails while the boat can be thrown around without the need to constantly change sides.
