Had to check this out since my lady Viola Davis is in it.
This is such a unique concept for a series. I don't think we're ever going to see anything else like it, unfortunately. Being on a broadcast network definitely didn't help but I think the show was just ahead of its time. It's just a cool idea with so much potential but I think we just weren't ready for it and probably still aren't. It's too bad too. It really was a good show
We're now seven years away from this yet nowhere near it being like that.

I screened this pilot at the MGM Grand when I was on vacation with my parents. I loved it. I wish more people did!

Amazing. This was really a surprise. I stumbled across this will doing some research for an article about the brain altering affects of Google Search. One of my source references led me to a favorite Outer Limits episode S03E05 "Stream of Consciousness" and the writer David Shore (House, The Good Doctor). David Shore explores the vein of moral uncertainty brought about by technological progress in way that reminds me of Michael Crichton (Westworld, Andromeda Strain, Jurassic Park). What the two shows (OL and CC) have in common is following the arc of technology where it intersects with unanticipated societal and moral problems which inevitably happens. I had never heard of this show back in 2004 but I'm glad to see all 8 (9?) of the episodes on YT, while only 4 were aired on CBS. Some surprises for me were the very positive (but few) IMDB user ratings and the single critic review. The fact that only 4 episodes were aired before cancellation suggests a poor understanding of the target audience or CBS's lack of interest in promoting it. It may also be that this show was just too ahead of the times. The story is supposed to take place in 2030. If you read the plot synopsis of several episodes I think they overshot by 10 years. These stories are showing up in the news today. I think these premise could be repackaged into a new series (with better SFX) on a much friendlier venue (Netflix, Amazon etc.) with much greater success. Today many of the plots would feel totally current. Remember this was still early internet, pre-smart phone and social media days. As one IMDB reviewer said "A great thinking persons sci-fi classic that should still be revived by an online streaming service such as Netflix". Let's hope that David Shore gets back to this concept perhaps after the run of the excellent The Good Doctor. We really need an intelligent SciFi show after so much derivative drivel of the past decade (Trek, Star Wars, Marvel). Nice to see all the episodes posted here. I assume this was from the creators/producers since only 4 episodes aired. Would really appreciate hearing other comments or feedback from the creators of CC.

I wondered why I'd never even heard of this, then realized that it was from 2004. Between 2003 and 2006 I lived in Japan and only the most successful shows made it out there. It's very strange to live with this 3-year gap in the American pop culture and zeitgeist. I'm still finding out about movies, short-lived TV shows and 1-hit wonder bands from that era that I totally missed.

Loved this show, but only watched it a few times (and a long time ago), so I did not remember that Viola Davis and Kristin Lehman were in it (but then I only started really following Lehman after I became a fan of Motive).
Ioan Gruffudd and Nestor Carbonell were both on the CW show Ringer together! OMG what a small world, or maybe it was planned, IDK! Still cool!

Haven't seen this since it first aired. I always thought Century City to be fascinating and ahead of its time.
It's interesting to see all these actors on this show after seeing what other projects they've done since cancellation.

This would have taken off better. It was all about the time slot. They put a brand new show in a time slot competing with stuff like the final season of Frasier. The network screwed them over.
Any chance you could dig up Muscle 1995, Suddenly Susan, Strong Medicine and upload those?
A sfi-fi that make me go sleepy and I like that - maybe the companies dont like that but - lets see I can see 100 episodes of a serie - Why I can get to sleep whicle watching and not looking in flashy and high load bangs from greedy commercials put on the shows by ..stupid tv chanels anyway there is something they could do and not have irritating commersial - products in their shows - Remember watching LA Law and sleep always then it went irritating at some point and lost me.

@@michaelesposito2629 sgi 1 is perfect so are all hallmarks and teenage series and movies .I watch those and netflix keeps showing me shows beliving I actually watched those-yes In my sleep .
Great concept. Awful execution. Interesting to see that Olivia Davis has been playing the same role for 20 years. Maybe mix it up?
