Lmao someone replying to my old-ass comment Yes, I have beaten the throne and looped with *most* characters. I still haven’t gotten melting’s B skin, nor rebel’s, steroids’, fish’s, pretty much any of them that require beating something post-loop. While I’ve looped with most chars, actually getting anywhere with them is another thing entirely.

3 things that helped me to get better at this game are: 1. Pick Crystal. He is by far the safest pick, having more HP and being able to block most attacks. 2. Look up the Nuclear Throne Fandom page, there is a very organized and full detailed discription of pretty much everything in the game. Read a bit about weapons, enemies and Mutations - this makes playing way easier, especially when you know good combos (Trigger Fingers with slow firing weapons, second stomach + Rabbit Paw + Strong spirit (if you are really lucky), Boiling Veins with explosion weapons, long arms + scarier face + move speed upgrade for melee weapons and so on). 3. It sounds simple, but *play slow*. There arent too many Situations where you have to play the game fast. Play it slow: look up enemies you dont know when they appear; you can pause the game at any time. Look up weapons and their stats when they drop to compare them with each other, same with mutations, look them up, and figure out which one fits your current built / situation the most. Also, focus on survivability upgrades when you are not that good at the game. The slower bullet mutation (I think its called Euphoria, didnt play in a while) should also help, as it gives you more reaction time to shield. Hope that helps a bit, if you even read this / if you even play the game anymore :P

I have only played 2 hours so far and an upset that I can’t unlock Horror. It’s made me cry already. I’ve tried as Y.V., Fish, Plant, Eyes, Melting, Crystal and that’s it. Nothing yet :( Edit: I’ve unlocked Horror, Steroids and Robot since. Still working on Rebel and Rogue though ;P
