Watch this video to understand Canada's rampant drug problem, their housing crisis, their healthcare crisis and at the same time, learn how the country actually truly looks at temporary residents.

I moved to USA with my wife in 2022. Initially we felt very good being in a developed country. But eventually we started seeing the realty. In movies, USA is shown as the perfect place to be. Cops, healthcare, services, quality of life, everything. We reality is opposite. So many homelessness, theft, cops won't even take action, car breaks, expensive healthcare. I was shocked that USA isn't as perfect as advertised! The loneliness is so bad that US surgeon general declared loneliness as epidemic!! Mental health issues, so much depression, drugs. What is mental health I got to know only after being in USA. Seeing the reality of USA, me and my wife decided to move back to India in early 2024. We have started appreciating India alot! The kind of growth India is witnessing in last 10 years is mindboggling. Infact India is much ahead of USA in many things. Honestly we felt we downgraded our lifestyle when we moved to USA.

Hello, I live in BC, Canada. Canada is currently in a very rough state, and I can only hope things will improve soon. One of the biggest issues is the rampant, uncontrolled immigration. The government invited a flood of people into the country without having the necessary infrastructure in place-jobs, healthcare, housing-to support them. Now they're trying to cap immigration, hoping for a turnaround, but it's like closing the stable door after the horse has bolted.
Canada's drug and crime policies are an absolute joke. I also have an Instagram account where many students ask me about studying in Canada. I always tell them that if they're doing well in India, they should stay there. The problem isn't just with India's education system-it's with the unrealistic mindset of people wanting to come to Canada.
We see students desperately going from one store to another, begging for jobs that simply aren't there. Some even sell their land or property, especially in Punjab, thinking they'll find a better life here. But right now, it's just not worth it. When I advise others, they think we're living the dream in Canada while trying to stop them from coming. I moved to Canada 12 years ago, and the country has changed beyond recognition.

Education is inferior here, Healthcare is non existent, political divisiveness governs all things, it lacks culture and color, it's cold, expensive, and dead and quiet overall.

University se graduation karo … masters karo ….. apne aap ko ‘capable’ banao phir dekho….. jobs tum ko dhoonte aayegi. Of course itna development nahi hai ki 1/2 million students ko le le. But competitive banana aur rahna jaroori hai. India mein kya sab grads. ke paas jobs hai??? Ye log jo yahan fail ho jaatein hain wo hi ye complain kartein hain….. SOP is not mandatory document during visa filing. Specially in canada. 15 years ago noone writes SOP but in 2009 Canada immigration ask for justification of stay request with fews students and after that all stated writing SOP. Till date SOP is not mandatory document for filing. Actually every country have their immigration goals. Canada give visa easily because their immigration goal is to get a educated cheap labour without investing a money which afterall they getting it. Usa goal is to get a best talent from other country, Australia to get skill labour who's shortage is their mention in their list, New Zealand wants same but work with median wage, UK just want immigrants to harvest money.

I’ll give my honest opinion. I have stayed in Canada for 3 years from 2018 - 2021 during which I have also worked there. The good thing about that country is almost no pollution and less population and the people are also friendly. However, the costs of housing, medical and other expenses have risen considerably and it’s very difficult to save money and enjoy life freely. The big cities like Toronto and Vancouver are out of reach for the students in terms of rent. Also my own roommate was a victim of crime as 2 college students robbed him and fortunately he only suffered minor injuries. There is also shortage of jobs due to recession. Even though there are many problems in India but in today’s time the best country to live is India!! 🇮🇳🇮🇳

However, the claim in this video that a pregnant woman has to wait for 6 months to meet her gynaecologist, is wrong. I am watching this video from Canada and I have 4 words for you - “DO NOT COME HERE!!!” Everything that was mentioned in the video is absolutely true. Canada is facing many problems, unaffordable housing, broken healthcare systems, homeless people, drugs. I am always scared to walk in downtown at night when I’m returning from work. And the worst part is, you cannot even defend yourself here if a homeless person is attacking you. If you do that you will be prosecuted saying that why did you touch that homeless guy and it is a violation of human rights, which is stupid. So does that mean that we should just let a random homeless person kill us?? How does that make sense?? My friend who was having an asthma attack had to sit in the emergency room for 8 hours. If something would have happened, who would be responsible? And the list just goes on. And what does the Canadian prime minister do about that….? Let a guy be a girl and a girls become a guy? What does that even mean??? I have nothing against the LGBTQ people. That’s your life do whatever you want, I don’t care. But there are so many other issues going on in the country and the government is focusing on allowing people to change their genders !!
And the worst part is that a portion of the tax we pay from our hard earned money goes to the homeless people. And what do they do? Buy drugs and start attacking random people. I really feel sorry for this country and the people of this country.
I always respected my county, India but now I really feel that the sense of security, belongingness, our culture is amazing !!!
If anyone is planning to come to Canada for studies, please think again. And if you have already booked your flight, all the best….its going to be extremely tough.

Despite investing family savings, they're ending up in unrelated fields, stressing about their future. This trend is concerning, as our talented youth is blindly moving to foreign countries without research, hoping for a successful career. Videos like this aim to raise awareness about the harsh realities and importance of informed decisions.
Additionally, I want to highlight the differences in medical treatment in Canada and Australia compared to India. In my experience, medical treatment in India is efficient, with reports available in a single day. In contrast, in Canada and Australia, the process is slow, with long wait times for doctor appointments and report results. This is a crucial aspect to consider when making decisions about studying or moving abroad.

There is simply no way the middle class in Canada today can save as much in real terms or Purchasing Power PArity terms than the same person holding the same job in India. I have no issue with you doing well - I want all our Bharatiyas to succeed globally, and they will because even in tough environments like Canada today, over the long run, our Bharatiya values allow us to outperform others. But please don't say life is normal here in Canada in terms of decent job = decent life. I do very well here too, family of 4, annual cost of living without any private education for kids is $120,000/year in Toronto. We can live a much better life in India for $30,000/year. Lucky we own our own businesses...but still feels lousy spending so much for so little. We are moving back to India for the sake of our kids, who are only half Indian. Those who have global mobility and are at a high level of career growth or success will find India a better environment for growth than Canada. Of course, it's easier to succeed in Canada due to less competition, but as far as saving for a good life here, unless you are planning on moving to Mexico, Thailand or back to India...the numbers don't make sense here anymore. In India the treatment would have costed close to 1 crore or I can say there is no specialized treatments in India for such micro premature babies. I’m thankful to Canada in this case. I have seen best and worst. So I’m neutral here. But I strongly suggest students not to come to Canada at this moment. This country does not have enough jobs, no proper education, no standard of living now

Sir, the large population in India makes you feel worthless even if you have any skills. When you go to a client, they don't offer even half the amount that your work is worth. If you refuse, they say, 'No problem, we will find someone else.' Shockingly, they do find someone who will work for less money. There will always be someone willing to work for less. Additionally, the government doesn't really care about poor people; they see them as garbage. Privileged children also make fun of the poor to look cool
    - If things are expensive in Canada, it means they value someone's skills. Anyone with good skills will not feel worthless.

    • @vidyanagarajan9135
      @vidyanagarajan9135 20 дней назад +5

Thats because they are paying high not due to skills alone but due to low competition and low population. In India is high population and high competition the employer will always choose the person who comes for low salary. What is that go to do with poor people.

@@vidyanagarajan9135 I'm a graphic designer, and my experience has shown that high population and competition in India lead to employers choosing candidates who accept lower salaries. In India, the large population is a significant problem.Regarding poor people, have you ever seen how the government destroys slums in India? They aren't doing anything about air quality, river pollution, or the overly complex constitution, which the rich exploit to their advantage. Additionally, they impose high taxes but don't provide anything worthwhile in return.

This is 100% True! Actually the condition is much worst than descirbed in this video.
Health Care:- Average wait time to get a family doctor is 3-5 years. In simple words, if you have an extremly seious condition then only you get an immediate treatement in Emergency. If you need to see a specialist like dermatologist or orthopedic, average wait time here is 6 months.
Rents :- Canada population has increased by over 1 Million every year in past 3-4 years due to libreal immigration policies. However, the goverment did not take any steps to accomodate these people. To give context, Canada has built houses every year to accomodate only 300K people. That is why the average rent(950$) is more than double nowadays (2000$) for the same house/apartment in compare to what was 5-6 years ago.
Home Affordibility:- Average family(two person) income is $75k yearly right now. Average house price in Canada is $700k. The bank only approves mortgage upto 4x times your income. So that is 75 * 4 = $300k mortgage. So you need to make a downpayment of $400k if you want to buy your own home.
By the way, the minimum wage job package is only $32k per year.
Crime and Chaos:- Canada has a catch and release policy for repeated criminals. Let's say somebody stole you car and got caught, he will be released on bail in 10 mins. The crime rate has increased 20% in last 5 years.
Taxes:- Average family(two person) earning $75k pays 29% income tax to Goverment for these above mentioned wonderful servies. So in hand they only get around $53k, plus they pay 13% additoanl tax on groceries, clothers, insurance, absoulte everything.

I live in Montreal. The city is beautiful and has a great vibe. But the roads are really bad, housing is shitty, healthcare is the worst in Canada (imagine that!). I had a gynaecological issue where I was bleeding for over a month. You cannot go to a specialist by yourself without a referral. When I got the referral I could not get an appointment for the next 4 months. I had to immediately run to India to get treated. My friends have all had similar experiences. I’ve been living here for 6 yrs now and still don’t have a family doctor. I’m on the waitlist for the past 4 yrs. And family doc doesn’t mean your entire family gets one doc nah uh. My husband will get a different one and I’ll get a different one. Homelessness is rampant. Every month 100s of working people are going homeless. They are rushing to hospitals to take shelter from heat and rain. 60% of Canada is atheist and churches have been turned into bars, cabarets, libraries, homeless shelters etc. Most international students rely on food banks because you can’t afford groceries here.
