- A few years ago, back in 2022, I made a video titled Descendants: The Worst Disney Franchise. And back then I genuinely believed it. I had watched all three films and whilst I had remembered them as corny and grudgingly tuningley gifted, I still couldn't accept that they were genuinely enjoyable films. They were too cringe for 2022 me. Well over the past month I've been revisiting these films and have largely proved myself wrong. So here I am, eating humble pie, ranting about how enjoyably corny these films are. I can't wait for the 4th! Enjoy.

Descendants 3 has songs that slap: Queen of Mean, Night Falls and Mal and Hades song are really good, it’s a nice way to wrap off the trilogy, and may Cameron rest in peace.

Queen of Mean personally is my favorite in the franchise, for me it mixed a princess feel and a villain feel very well to make it feel like it's not just a villain song, honestly I hope Audrey gets her own movie
I LOVED the Descendants 2 soundtrack, and was wondering how they would top it, and they absolutely did with Queen of Mean alone, I'm so emotionally invested in that song, one of my favorite Disney songs in general. Audrey may have been a lil annoying in the first film, but she deserves her she justice

@@njivwathomassilavwe2056 IDK if it's the novels or Disney, but my biggest issue with it is that we barely get to explore Coventry, and what we do see or it is very generic fantasy. Had it been a D+ series, I'd hope it'd be more creative.

So Mal is a god right? At least a demi god cause her dad is Hades which how he and Maleficent got together is a whole different question. The daddy issues song slaps though and queen of mean has no right to be that good

Awesome video! Side-Note on their ages: The spin-off books set in-between the films show that Mal, Ben, Evie, and Jay have graduated high school before the third film. So when Ben proposed to Mal, I think they were getting ready to go to college.

Descendants is by far the best Disney channel franchise. Everything about it is so well done. the music, the characters, the story, the world building. Everything I've heard about Descendants: The Rise of Red sounds amazing.
Never got one thing. Audrey was pissed and then she literally broke into the museum illegally all on her own. The scepter made her dark, I get it. Then she came back into sense and was like oops. But she literally got away with the break in and an attempt to destroy the crown. If she never broke in none of it would've happened.
You should watch Descendants: Royal Wedding! It’s where Mal and Ben get married and it’s pretty good
Yeah say what you want about the franchise, but I personally find it be one of the best projects Disney Channel has done in its history.
This series was so good that I even did VK OCs for the ones that weren’t mentioned in the series (Scar, Shan Yu, Shere Khan etc.)

When I was in Wisconsin Dells for a vacation they played all 3 of these movies. The only scene I remember from the third one is where Hades and Beast start growling at each other.

Descendants 3 is my personal favorite of the bunch. Like it goes:

Descendants 3 is my favourite of the three, and it’s entirely because of Hades. I love the subtext of his history. You can tell he loves Mal and regrets being forced away by Maleficent. And he’s a much more accurate representation of Hades from Greek Mythology.
Personally this is well written than the most Disney channel movies
