Tim Simenon is never given enough recognition for the magic he did himself and inspired in others, without his lead so many tunes and bands would simply never have existed.
Hard to believe that Tim Simenon was only 17 or so and this was his first album. I was about the same age at the time and a country boy from Victoria, Australia. This album was a part of musical awakening. There was no internet, just the crap played on the local radio station. I moved to Melbourne, started buying imports from Central Station and the rest as they say, is history. Thanks Tim
Fellow Melbournian here. l remember hearing this and Cookie Crew Rok Da House at Inflations downstair circa 1990 and also bought the LP from Central Station Records on Flinders Street. Good times.
