The weather channel app reported that thousands of cows are dying in Kansas because of the unusually warm temps at night. The cows apparently aren’t accustomed to the hotter night temps and can’t recover from the heat stress experienced during the day. Scary stuff.

@@changeofattitude8781 , Yes, this is true. We went from very rainy cool weather in May. (Over 12 inches of rain in May in Topeka, Kansas)
Third most rain ever recorded in Topeka, Kansas for May. Highest amount recorded for rain here was over 14 inches in 1892.
Around June 8th, we have went from unusually cool rainy weather to unusually very hot weather here.
The temperature here will continually be for highs 96 to 103 degrees everyday for the next two weeks.
No relief in sight!
