Barry Bonds without steroids was still in the top 1% of players in MLB history. Barry Bonds on steroids was setting ridiculous records and gave baseball pundits and fans something to talk about for several years in the 2000s (and given that we're all here, for years to come). If I was a HoF voter, I'd vote him in as there are more despicable human beings in the Hall than someone that took some PEDs (but had HoF talent even without them) and was a bit of a jerk to the media. It was baseball in the 80s through the 2000s and a part of what made the sport pretty entertaining to watch then, so I find it funny that some of the people that brought in the most eyeballs and interest in the sport (which equals money) are shunned once their careers are over like they're an embarrassment to mankind, let alone a game that has had more than its fair share of genuine scumbags. In some ways I suppose it's similar to cycling around the same time.
Yeah. I think it is ridiculous that arguably the best player of all time is not in the hall of fame. The hall of fame is meant to preserve history, it's not meant for players that get in because everybody likes them. I also don't understand why everybody gives Bonds all of the bad rep acting like he was the only one to do it. Plenty of people in the hall of fame have cheated. Roids don't make the ball bigger. Bonds, regardless of cheating, was a hall of fame worthy player.
This video is a masterpiece by Foolish Baseball. The way he tells the story and all, it made me fall in love with the career of Barry Bonds. I didn't know much about baseball until a few years ago when I came across his channel and watched this video. Barry Bonds became instantly my favorite player. Despite the use of PEDs, the man was insane at the bat. People talk about power hitting and HR stats, but to me the most insane thing about Bonds was his plate discipline. Very few players could control the strike zone like he did. Even after taking steroids, if you have zero discipline at the plate, you wouldn't do much damage. A lot of players used steroids in the late 90s/early 2000s, and no one came close to Bonds' numbers.

Great vid man 👍, the next player you HAVE to do is Ichiro. He is the single most unique player I think I’ll ever see, and I bet most people would agree w that. Unreal player.
I remembered watching Barry played. The only player that I remembered to be walked with the bases loaded. He was that feared by pitchers when he was on the roids.
At his best Barry is the best hitter of all time by a decent margin. He was just a different thing. People choose many things to knock him, but it’s never talent.
That secret base channel has a whole thing on Ricky Henderson which is not only completely wonderful but not really someone you can compare to anyone. Crazies part is that Ricky Henderson was left handed batted right handed cause he grew up batting right handed like all of his friends.
Barry Bonds was one of the most talented players in MLB history. If not for the PEDs he would be in the HOF. The same can be said about Alex Rodriguez.
People hate on Bonds and other players too much for PEDs. Everyone was on steroids back then. Difference is, the guy that hits .200 and doesn't get on base doesn't get slandered because he sucks. Bonds is to me the greatest of all time and my favorite player of all time.
Random YT comment says, "Barry Bond is so great that even before he got on the HGH he was a hall of famer." -If someone was so great at their craft, they wouldn't have to cheat.
5:01 If a pitcher stands up and shows the cricket no-ball sign, that's intentional walk, pitcher saves the arm to throw four bad pitches. That said: Batter can still try and hit it anyway.
Also a walk off is different from a walk. A walk off is a hit in the bottom of the 9th or later that ends the game. If the game is tied in the bottom of the ninth and someone hits a home run, that’s a walk off. A walk is getting to first base on 4 balls
Man, now that you saw this video about Bonds, you NEED to whatch this other one: ruclips.net/video/JwMfT2cZGHg/видео.html Title: What if Barry Bonds played baseball without a bat. It wil BLOW your mind.
The fact that pitchers infamous for the spitball and would not be known without the spitball are in the hall of fame but Barry Bonds, who had a Hall of Fame worthy career and 3 MVPs BEFORE he starting juicing himself is is a total load of hypocrisy. The Baseball Hall of Fame process is an absolute joke. Glad you are able to see through the controversy and form your own opinion.
The biggest problem I have with Barry is that he had 3 MVP's before he started juicing. I can understand a scrub who wants to stay in the Bigs using PED's, but this was a guy who was already at the very top of the sport. He did not need them to be an all time great, but he saw the money and adulation that guys like McGwire/Sosa were getting and wanted it too. This video does a great job of giving the scope of who Bonds was in the batters box and his effect on the league. Kabir if you like these type of videos you should check out the Dorktown History of the Seattle Mariners series by Secret Base.
I just commented the same thing. I can't stand that he was first ballot without the juice. That alone is why I have such disrepect for him in the game.
@@Cubs-Fan.10 He made choices. It is not like he killed someone, but it just sucks that he overtook Hank Aaron because of the juice. I think that is why he has been vilified more than the other players. It was one of the biggest records in North American sports, and now a cheater holds the crown.
@@gregadkins2483 I honestly think if he was clean he COULD have still broken the record. Nobody will ever know, but that's what pisses me off. We know he was dirty and here we are with a fable of one the most heralded records in sports history.

Bonds is simply a product of a time in baseball when the “ol boys club” encouraged and turned a blind eye to PEDs. After the ‘94 strike, these so-called villains were what made baseball great again, and worth watching. I don’t condone the use of PEDs, but it was unfortunately a necessary evil to gain back the fans’ support and interest. Bonds was a future HOF’r before this period. PEDs can only do so much, anyway. It’s still hitting a round ball with a round bat, which isn’t an easy feat no matter what you ingest. There will come a time when he and others are enshrined. Most likely posthumously.
Baseball's Triple Crown for batter is Home Runs, Runs Batted In, Batting Average; Triple Crown for pitcher is most wins and strikeouts, and lowest Earned Runs Average.
Yes man! Good choice. Growing up in the Bay Area, even though I am an A's fan, I have gone to a lot of Giants games over the years. I was there at AT&T park, of whatever they call it now, the night Bonds hit HR 756! Even without the steroids, he would still have put up HOF numbers because of his swing! He could just hit! Antonelli Baseball has a great RUclips video breaking down the mechanics of Bonds' swing which Matf Antonellli says is the best swing he has ever seen! And Matt is a pretty good expert on hitting because he was a high draft pick because he was a good hitter.
usually not one to recommend things but secret base has a nice series called untitled. and have one on bonds about how he didn't win a ring. you already know they do good work
***** I rooted for him in Pittsburgh but did not root for him in S.F..Just like I rooted for McGuire & Canseco because I Transported them all the time in Tacoma AAA to Sea-Tac but later didn't , but enjoyed watching the Bash Brothers. Check out the Kid , he did it the right way , Ken Griffey Jr.
The right way: Hanging around, so he could pad his career stats, even though he became fat, injury-prone, a shell of his former self for the second-half of his career. Griffey was a huge disappointment once the '90s were over.
I dont care what anyone says about Bonds. He made baseball exciting when I was a kid. Watching Barry play was like a videogame. You just knew if they threw that ball anywhere he could hit it, it was probably a home run.
From the bay and barry was a giant when I was 13 to 28 years old best I ever saw do it skinny bonds still led the majors from 1990 to 1997 in home runs and rbi and 3 mvps as skinny guy goat status
Even Hank Aaron aknowledge that Barry Bonds was the homerun king. PED's or not, he really didn't care because he knew people had been using it for ages. Aaron is a class act. Be like Aaron
Kabir love watching your sports reactions you should check 1984 Detroit Tigers in first place from 1rst game to the last game 165 and then won the world series the first 40 games they went 35 and 5 not bad .
Being on the Dodgers side of this whole thing, back then I despised Barry Bonds because I was like 12 and the whole steroid thing. But looking back on it since we had our own guy on the Mitchell Report, I look back on it with fond memories. Like our balanced diet guy versus yours. And for us, whenever Eric Gagne came in to close the game, Dodger Stadium was always rocking since his entrance music was “Welcome to the Jungle.” And because of his save streak, we gave him the nickname “Game Over” Gagne. Fastball fastball change up. That at bat against Bonds was something else.
Barry Bonds is 10th in career plate appearances. He'd be higher on the list, except that by the end of his career he had become persona non grata in MLB. That is, there was so much controversy around him that no team wanted him. His knees were shot, but he could have gone to the American League and been a designated hitter for a couple of years, if some AL team had been willing to sign him. Barry Bonds was never on a World Series winning team. That's the point the narrator was making. As great a hitter as he was, he could only come to the plate four or five times a game. The rest of the 37 or so plate appearances in each game were by his teammates. Also, his team's pitching had a huge impact, and he had no control over it. There are plenty of great players who never won a World Series: Ted Williams, Ty Cobb, Carl Yastrzemski, Ferguson Jenkins, Ken Griffey Jr., Jeff Bagwell...
It sucks that Bonds never won a ring. Only a few years after Bonds retired, the Giants won three WS in five years, in 2010, 2012, and 2014. The first time they won since moving from New York to San Franciso in the 1950's. By the way the LA Dodgers were originally the Brooklyn Dodgers and moved to the west coast shortly afterwards as well.
Lifelong Giants fan since they moved to SF in 1958. Bonds was a very talented, excellent athlete who richly deserves exactly what he got- the scorn of fans who wouldnt tolerate cheating. Had he avoided PED's he would have been in the Hall, as it is, his accomplishments will forever be under a cloud of doubt- could he have done it without the chemicals? I dont believe he could have. Every "record" in the book during the steroid years needs to just flatly be erased, forgotten as the shameful cheating they represent.
Had the MLB commissioner done something about steroids when Sosa and McGwire went nuts, Bonds never does roids and he's in the HOF. Dude's ego couldn't handle seeing what McGwire and Sosa were doing on the stat line knowing full well what they were doing behind the scenes.
Barry Bonds's father played for San Francisco, and Barry grew up in San Francisco, so his signing with the Giants was like going home. Eric Gagne used human growth hormone.
Stats don't really mean anything, it just shows what has happened not what will happen, there are many variables you can and can't take into consideration.Even the wind can affect the results,
Also he didn't mention it here, but you have to realize how amazing 73 home runs in a year is, steroids or not. Babe Ruth in the 20s hit 60, and it took until 1961 for him to be beaten by Roger Maris at 61. Then along comes Barry Bonds and he hits 73. All while maintaining an average over .350. Absolute madness.
Came to this video pretty late, but you asked about no other player winning more than 3 MVPs, even legends like Babe Ruth. Back in Ruth's day the MVP award was less solid than it was today, and they had a rule back then that a player cannot win more than one MVP award, which Ruth did in 1923. The first "modern" MVP award was awarded to a single player in each of the two leagues in 1931, which was still a year Ruth played very well in and he finished 5th in the MVP voting. So, Ruth's lack of MVP awards is more an issue with the game's foundations not being completely set yet rather than him not consistently being the best player in baseball for years on end
I went to see SF when they played ATL. I got right field seats specifically for Bonds since he was a lefty. I showed up for batting practice and Bonds didnt hit a single home run or do anything very impressive. Michael Tucker hit several in the right field stands and I caught one with my hat which impressed the usher who said he had never seen that in 20+ years of working the outfield stands. Of course, during the game Bonds did hit a home run to center.
When Bonds started he would hit between 25-35 HRs per year. He looked very average physically. Suddenly he gained 25-30 pounds of pure muscle. That's when he started ripping the ball out of the park. About the same time as McGwire and Sosa started their HR streaks. All of them put on a bunch of muscle out of nowhere.
Speaking of unbreakable records, There is a player who shattered the stolen base records, and I am willing to bet his records will never be broken. Enter speed demon, and stolen base king Rickey Henderson!! This guy literally set the bar, and year after year, no one seems capable of challenging these records.
People talk shit about Bonds cause he supposedly roofed, as if it even mattered. Forget the fact that everyone then was roiding and therefore it was an even playing field. His career OBP is still fucking nuts because of his walks, which are due to his god tier plate discipline. Steroids don’t discipline your bat, they just make it swing harder. Bonds is the GOAT You should watch bonds without his bat. It’s amazing
Barry Bonds dominated the sport in a way I'd never seen before and haven't seen since. I think you probably have to go all the way back to Ted Williams to find a comparable hitter although Babe Ruth may actually be the best comparison.
Nah. He screwed himself. He was first ballot before he started using. I have no sympathy for someone who does something illegal/controversial when it wasn't needed. He saw Sosa and Mcguire getting paid and recognized he thought he could too. He is a selfish shit show. That's why he's hated.
5:34 Intentionally walking a batter with the bases loaded is voluntarily conceding a run (point) to the opposition. It is unorthodox strategy, to say the least. Barry Bonds is controversial for 2 reasons, neither of which are directly related to his steroid use. Enough players were using steroids, that he wasn't remarkable in that respect. However, steroids are tangentially related to the polarized opinion of the guy. First, the records he broke were pretty sacred to baseball people. The career homerun record had been held by a tremendously dignified man named Hank Aaron. Aaron was black, and endured unspeakable racism when he reached the record himself. He was also a dignified, fine man. Using drugs to beat that record just felt dirty. Second (and this ties into the first reason, as well), Barry Bonds had a reputation for being a bit of a douchebag. He insisted on special treatment, perks, etc. He didn't have a reputation for mixing well with teammates or coaches. He simply didn't have that x factor that made people like him. Add the drugs, and it's a recipe for a villain. However, no one disputes the guy's ability. He was unbelievable.
@@kabirconsiders For what it's worth, which isn't much, I don't think there's any question he belongs in the Hall of Fame. That honor is reserved for outstanding play, not general likability. As for drugs, obviously he was cheating. But, during the era of his greatest achievement, so was everyone else - or, at least 85% of MLB players. Ergo, the playing field was as level as it would have been, had everyone been throwing straight dice. I have similar feelings about Lance Armstrong. Of course the guy was doping. So was everyone else. Cycling is one of the dirtiest sports on the planet. I know nothing about Armstrong personally. Maybe he's a great guy. Maybe he's a total jerk. I do know that he overcame stage 4 cancer to compete in, and dominate, a grueling sport. I don't care if he rammed a big block V8 up his own ass and mainlined 100 octane race fuel. My hat's off to him.
Every baseball fan has to come to their own reconciliation with the steroid era. Mine was that I would be okay with those players' records and their eligibility for the Hall of Fame - IF - They had to sit in a room and explain to Hank Aaron and Frank Robinson why those records and accomplishments be held in the same regard as those two gentlemen. Sadly, both have passed on recently. So, I can no longer use that particular scale of justice.
But what about honest players like griffey who didn’t use steroids. Should we reward cheaters who should have played on the same level as him? Without steroids there is Macguire, Sosa and Bonds home run races are dwarfed by Jr. And I’m glad he is in the Hall and Barry is not.
@@matthewoehler2472 There were several truly great steroid free players from that era. Griffey was one. Cal Ripken and Tony Gwynn both come to mind immediately. Frank and Henry would shake their hands and send them on their way with proud smiles.
just came across a 7min video you might find interesting or not, that JUST happened a couple days ago. "FULL 9TH INNING: Tyler Gilbert becomes 4th player EVER to throw a no-hitter in his first MLB start!"
Some bad news, I know you did a video reaction to MLB headshots before. Last night one of our pitchers, Chris Bassitt, got hit in the face by a 100mph comebacker from a White Sox hitter. He was on the ground for a long time. I don't know the full update on his situation as of right now, but I know his jaw is busted!
@@hifijohn latest news is that he is on stable condition in the hospital. He has to have surgery to repair a fracture to his face but thankfully no concussion signs! Thank God! He could have died!
I may be baised since I’m from the Deep South and a huge Atlanta Braves fan but, Hank Arron will always be the home run king. Anyone else from the steroid era breaks that record and I’m still standing by what I said. Hoping the Acuna jr might break it by the end of his career. Knowing that the record will surely eventually be broken i just hold onto the hope that it’ll return to being a Braves record!
Hi Kabir.... VERY polarizing player. Most people either love him and defend him or consider him to be a massive cheater who doesn't deserve any of his accolades because of steroids. Personally, I am one of the OG's who find that Mark McGuire, Sammy Sosa, Barry Bonds etc. who clearly all have either obviously or admittedly used steroids should NOT be allowed to keep any of the records they have accrued. 2 main arugments "everybody was doing it" and "well they actually did what they did, so they should have the records". As far as I am concerned, both are specious arguments because bottom line is they cheated. That is just my perspective. A bajillion people will argue with me on that.
Barry Bonds is the perfect example of peer pressure ( in a way) and jealousy. He knew he was the best player out of everyone at that point in time with Ken Griffey Jr being the only one closest to challenging him (not really but he was 2nd behind him for best player). The 1998 home run race when Sosa and Mcgwire were using performance enhancing drugs (along with many others) was the last straw. He decided to get in the act and it resulted in him making a mockery of the game. I mean 73 home runs in a season, that is literally impossible.
This is what you get when you have a true baseball Legend in Barry Bonds witch had a Hall of Fame career but greed and pride got in the way Barry decided instead of being a Hall of Famer and being one of the best baseball players ever that he wanted a record so he started taking steroids just so he can break Hank Aaron's home run record in my opinion Hank Aaron will always be the true home run King I still have respect for Barry Bonds before the steroids the one after the steroids just brought shame to the game and disgrace
Bonds was good enough as a skinny guy when he played in Pittsburgh but then got on the juice and grew a pumpkin head and was so out of his normal proportion. Just like Mark Mcguire.
I don’t like Bonds and I don’t like cheaters, but he is a HOF player. He was a great player before steroids and it’s a shame that he felt compelled to use them.
That number of plate appearences isn't odd at all. You've gotta realize, they play 162 games a year, and you're going to get 3-6 plate appearences per game depending on how many runs your team scores. In a regular season alone, its pretty normal to see 500-600 plate appearences, so 12,000 isn't shocking at all.
If you ignore PED's, which maybe you should given all the ways guys cheated over the years and the fact that Babe Ruth never had to face any of the best black players, he's the GOAT and it's not even close.
Hey Kabir, there is no doubt that PED's (steroids) have been going on in sports since the 1980's. In fact, there is no question players in the NFL used them in the 1960's and they were available in the 1950's as well. Anyways, in the NBA, PED use (by multiple superstars & all-stars) started in the 90's. You can look at the bodies of players like Kareem, Bird, McHale, Barkley, Hakeem, Isiah, Rodman (earlier in his career), Dominique, etc...and know that without a doubt they did NOT use PED's. However, after MJ retired, I'm 99% sure he used PED's to help him get back to his elite level from 1996 to 1998. Karl Malone is another player that almost certainly used PED's at that time. I don't think it was a coincidence that they faced each other in the FINALS in 2 of those 3 seasons. As far as the last 20 to 25 seasons go, there are players you know NEVER "cheated" the game! Players I'm not sure of are Kobe, Shaq, and Wade (but I do question how strong they got as their careers progressed). Players you can almoat guarantee NEVER used them are Reggie Miller (who was already a 10 year veteran by 1999), Tim Duncan, Dirk, Tracy McGrady (who admitted he was very tempted after his major injury), Grant Hill, Ray Allen, etc...all these players were very skilled and had great fundamentals. The players that we can say with 99% confidence who have used them are Lebron (who's name was actually on the Balco ledger and played in Miami from 2010-11 to 2013-14, the PED capital of the world). In fact, after the 2018 Eastern Conference finals, instead of flying to GS with his team, he took a plane to Miami (for undisclosed reasons). The media assumed it was to talk to Wade about going back to Heat (complete BS). Common sense tells us he needed to "fill his prescription"! Ironically, he played almost 50 mins and scored 51 points in game 1 of the finals, even though he took multiple flights, and did not rest or sleep much heading to game 1. In fact, if you just take Lebrons combined games and minutes (regular season & playoffs) played from 2006-2007 to 2017-2018, it is more than 99.95% of all players careers who have ever played in the NBA in its 76 years of existence. Remember, game 1 of the finals was at the end of this ridiculous streak. People will claim it is because Lebron spends over 1 million a year on his body. The truth is, he actually does, but that is because he pays bio-chemists and other experts to help him maintain his "undetectable' cocktail. If you need any proof, just look up the Balco scandal & Lebron James. In the 2014 off-season, Lebron and the NBPA signed the CBA that included testing for PED's (specifically HGH). Lebron mysteriously lost 40lbs after the agreement. He started the season with the worst play of his career. After a month, he feigned a "back injury" as a member of Cleveland. Then he flew down to Miami for 2 weeks, gained almost all 40lbs of his muscle mass back, and returned to his normal play! Barry Bonds was a great player before he started taking PED's, but without a doubt set records and reached mythical & legendary status with help from illegal substances. P.S. You released a video of the greatest NBA players at all 5 positions. They are Hakeem-C, Duncan-PF, Larry Bird-SF (and it isn't really close!), Michael Jordan-SG, and Magic-PG. The next 5 would be Kareem, Dirk, Lebron...although you can argue KD or Dr. J (it would be Kawhi if not for injuries), Kobe, and Curry or Stockton. Honorable mention goes to: Bill Russell, Wilt, and Shaq at Center. Giannis, KG, Kevin McHale, Charles Barkley, and Karl Malone at PF Elgin Baylor, Dominique, and Pippen at SF Dwayne Wade, and Reggie Miller at SG Isiah Thomas, Oscar, and Jerry West at PG. P.S.S. Want to also give a mention to David Robinson, Robert Parish, Sidney Moncrief, Dennis Rodman, Dennis Johnson, Joe Dumars, John Havlicek, Manu Ginobili-for his basketball IQ and competitiveness...Kobe said he hated facing Manu more (by far) than any player ever!!, Bernard King, Patrick Ewing, and Dame (for his loyalty and clutchness).
Barry Bonds is a guy I'll never like. Any records he had on steroids deserve an asterisk. If baseball also decides to let him in the HoF, it's his own fault.
@SDRGamer04 I've seen several videos of people saying he was arrogant and self centered, especially while playing. If untrue okay, but I've heard it from multiple sources.
3:18 If a player is good & keeps healthy they can play for a long time. Longest in the NFL can be as long but the bulk of players probably play less than five years on average vs MLB. 5:00 I have no problem with the decision to walk Bonds at all with 2 outs. I think this should be done more often. Pitcher Machismo (I can pitch to this guy)? 12:55 Some of the best players of all time never won a ring. I never was a fan of Bonds. He seemed like sort of an ass. I was never a fan of the clubs he played for. But with not the slightest evidence he ever did steroid (I believe there has been none at all) I think he should be left alone. The people he derided so much in his career may keep him out of the Hall of Fame (Bonds probably should have thought that thru better). But people need to stop using his name & steroids in the same sentence. All the people that 'said' he did such & such need to bring up some proof.
Part of the reason people don't get more than 4 MVPs is because they try not to give the MVP out the the same person every year. It gets boring if it's obvious
You should react to “If bonds played without a bat”
I was about to recommend that. John Bois is awesome.
20 year careers are exceptionally rare... from 1980-1999 over 1600 players entered major league baseball. 16 of them had careers of 20 or more years

Yes he should be in the HOF, but only for his pre steroids records. Why he took them i don't know. He was already insanely good without them.
Here are video links to career highlights some of the TRULY great players mentioned in the comments.

Great vid man 👍, the next player you HAVE to do is Ichiro. He is the single most unique player I think I’ll ever see, and I bet most people would agree w that. Unreal player.
Thanks bro :) I’ll try to find a good vid of him to do next week!
I remembered watching Barry played. The only player that I remembered to be walked with the bases loaded. He was that feared by pitchers when he was on the roids.
At his best Barry is the best hitter of all time by a decent margin. He was just a different thing.
People choose many things to knock him, but it’s never talent.
He was the scariest player at the plate of all time. One of the most skilled ball players of all time + steroids = a literal god at the game.
The greatest player to ever touch a bat, hands down!
His head grew during the juicing. Look at the head in Pittsburgh vs SF. JUICED!!!
Dude CHART PARTY: Barry Bonds Without a Bat
ANY CHART PARTY/PRETTY GOOD will pop your eyes out
YES i suggested that channel it's soo good.
Im born and raised in San Mateo home of barry bonds and Tom Brady but watched barry from age 13 to 28 never saw anyone better best ever 🐐
People hate on Bonds and other players too much for PEDs. Everyone was on steroids back then. Difference is, the guy that hits .200 and doesn't get on base doesn't get slandered because he sucks. Bonds is to me the greatest of all time and my favorite player of all time.
You gotta react to Ken Griffey Jr. if you reacting to Barry Bonds! And Griffey wasn’t on steroids in the day like most of them
Random YT comment says, "Barry Bond is so great that even before he got on the HGH he was a hall of famer."
-If someone was so great at their craft, they wouldn't have to cheat.
5:01 If a pitcher stands up and shows the cricket no-ball sign, that's intentional walk, pitcher saves the arm to throw four bad pitches. That said: Batter can still try and hit it anyway.
12:11 That was 2002, 9 years before Mike Trout moved up to the Majors.
Also a walk off is different from a walk. A walk off is a hit in the bottom of the 9th or later that ends the game. If the game is tied in the bottom of the ninth and someone hits a home run, that’s a walk off. A walk is getting to first base on 4 balls
Funny thing to keep in mind: Bonds NEVER tested positive for steroids in the final 4 years he played.
Man, now that you saw this video about Bonds, you NEED to whatch this other one:

Title: What if Barry Bonds played baseball without a bat.
It wil BLOW your mind.
Onto my list it goes!

Baseball Bits or anything from Jon Bois is fantastic.
Dude, I love your sense of humor!
Thanks bro, great minds think alike :)
Yeah and he had a great eye and glove and In his first 11 season (86 to 96) he hit 330 home runs with a .288 average and a .400
usually not one to recommend things but secret base has a nice series called untitled. and have one on bonds about how he didn't win a ring. you already know they do good work

I rooted for him in Pittsburgh but did not root for him in S.F..Just like I rooted for McGuire & Canseco because I Transported them all the time in Tacoma AAA to Sea-Tac but later didn't , but enjoyed watching the Bash Brothers.
Check out the Kid , he did it the right way , Ken Griffey Jr.
The right way: Hanging around, so he could pad his career stats, even though he became fat, injury-prone, a shell of his former self for the second-half of his career.
Griffey was a huge disappointment once the '90s were over.
We still love barry in san francisco he's the goat
I dont care what anyone says about Bonds. He made baseball exciting when I was a kid. Watching Barry play was like a videogame. You just knew if they threw that ball anywhere he could hit it, it was probably a home run.
From the bay and barry was a giant when I was 13 to 28 years old best I ever saw do it skinny bonds still led the majors from 1990 to 1997 in home runs and rbi and 3 mvps as skinny guy goat status
Ever think about reacting to Dock Ellis? He was a pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates and pitched a no-hit game while on acid.
I love Hank Aaron so I have to stand my ground on him still being the true HR king.
He's not though.
Even Hank Aaron aknowledge that Barry Bonds was the homerun king. PED's or not, he really didn't care because he knew people had been using it for ages. Aaron is a class act. Be like Aaron

Yeah even though he had all the controversy, he was undoubtedly a talented player and I think a ring would’ve been deserved
So it was a even match fir the last bat.
As a Red Sox fan I saw Big Papi get intentionally walked a lottt

Not technically intentionally, but... Intentionally. Lol.
Absolute cheating. screw bonds
@@michaelsmith-iu1be I never said I liked him or thought that number was legitimate. I just was sharing the stats.
Baseball is a team sport so many great players like bonds, trout, griffy, and Ichiro dont have any rings
Since it's Summer and you're reacting to Baseball, can you please react to the Sandlot?
I’ll put it on my list!
You are a check out the best of ball girls/boy mlb.
I highly recommend you watch Foolish Baseballs "Rockies are bad" video. He goes over, quite possibly, the worst trade done in recent history.

Bonds is the GOAT
You should watch bonds without his bat. It’s amazing
Very true, the man looked to be a physical freak even before the roids
Barry Bonds dominated the sport in a way I'd never seen before and haven't seen since. I think you probably have to go all the way back to Ted Williams to find a comparable hitter although Babe Ruth may actually be the best comparison.
100% deserves to be in the hall of fame
Nah. He screwed himself. He was first ballot before he started using. I have no sympathy for someone who does something illegal/controversial when it wasn't needed. He saw Sosa and Mcguire getting paid and recognized he thought he could too. He is a selfish shit show. That's why he's hated.

Intentionally walking a batter with the bases loaded is voluntarily conceding a run (point) to the opposition.
Do you think he deserves to be in the Hall of Fame? On balance considering everything I’ve seen and heard, I think he does.
@@kabirconsiders
For what it's worth, which isn't much, I don't think there's any question he belongs in the Hall of Fame.
Please react to shohei ohtani the gift or any of his highlights
I’m looking for a good video of his to react to, if I can find one I’ll make it my baseball reaction for next week!
They would intentionally walk Bonds even with really good hitters like Jeff Kent following him.

Barry bonds was my idol as a kid. I played baseball for years
kabir, This is a great react about Berry Bonds. Thanks for amazing baseball react!
Baseball makes math interesting
What is sad is Barry was a Hall of Fame player before the steroids. He was a beast when he wasn't so jacked.
Is it that common to have long careers? It used to be.
Says something for him to have the single-season record and all-time record for walks
Him and Willie Mays are the two greatest all around players ever. Bonds was just a ridiculous hitter
Honorable mention goes to:
Bill Russell, Wilt, and Shaq at Center.
Giannis, KG, Kevin McHale, Charles Barkley, and Karl Malone at PF
Elgin Baylor, Dominique, and Pippen at SF
Dwayne Wade, and Reggie Miller at SG
Isiah Thomas, Oscar, and Jerry West at PG.
Definitely deserves to be in the Hall of Fame!
No question. He was a hof before the juice
Part of the reason people don't get more than 4 MVPs is because they try not to give the MVP out the the same person every year. It gets boring if it's obvious
