A very interesting look at the trams. I remember going to Sheffield for meetings and every time seeing work ongoing to install the tram system track and power supplies, often finding roads temporarily closed, and not having sat nav then going on a "city tour" to get to my destination. The fog adds a certain atmosphere to some of the shots.
Thanks again Ken. You're always kind with your comments. I was a little concerned that this wasn't my usual forte!! The fog was a nuisance at times but I wanted to do the shots before all the snow disappeared so it had to be yesterday. Andy
I know James. I did exactly the same ..... there are 14 out of the total fleet of 32 featured here so I'm afraid you'll still have to go there to see the other 18 !!
The trams shown on the Meadowhall route are all from the first series. The Class 399 trams are not working up the final run into Meadowhall Interchange - Andy
Look on Google Maps for South Street, S2 5PN. There's a short bit of road which goes down to the tram track, then a few yards to the left and you're there. You'll need steps to stand on ...... Andy
