Climbers that are at another level going right off in their play pit right here, on ya gals & guys..go hard , leap far..hope you all learnt & met new friends at this event.
As a rock climber, this makes no sense. If the goal is to climb trees, why are they holding onto the ropes? I can see where climbing a tree would be fun and could possibly be challenging depending on how big of moves you need to make but this video made no sense in a competitive sense. In rock climbing, the goal is to climb the hardest route or to climb a route the fastest, this video didn't even explain what the goal of the competition was.
Isaac Nodland - I can't appreciamacate that mentality at all. There are a thousand things that go into being a good, or great, climber, other than any of the things portrayed in this video. Bell-ringing is very far down on the list.
Damn that was awesome! Holy shit the clips and everything! The music and shit! Im effing jacked up to go climbing today and its friggen 22 degrees and snowy outside! Lets friggen go!

Loads of treemotion harnesses??? Am I the only one that found it uncomfortable, or did I not give it enough time and adjustment?? Most comfy ever , edelrid tree magic 1, tree magic 2 just wasn't the same despite the so called 'upgrades ' But the skylotec kolibri click has been my go to harmess for a few years Got a new barely treemotion hanging in the lock up , might give it another chance
Tree motion is by far the best saddle I've ever used. It's also nice because of all the customized spots for your tools that you can set up. Rope walking on it is extremely comfortable as well
Hi Arbortec. Good to connect with you. I see you're a tree surgeon. I was one also. I am interested in what you do. I have a few small questions regarding tree surgeons and their struggles. I was wondering as a tree surgeon do you struggle with back pain?
I would love to give you the opportunity to understand about a mechanical device that I have invented that is by far the strongest on the market #zrunner is the mechanical device that is midline attachable made out of stainless steel and it has all of the configurations needed for SRT and DRT climbing scenarios.
Now where's the trimming of branches touching the line, or vines all over the place, or oak trees that twist and turn, and the ants, and the chainsaws. Climb some big ass elm trees, why don't you?

Hugo Sanchez it’s super lit I just put my gaffs in the tree for the first time a month ago love it
Go compete. There's normally a novice category. Everyone super supportive and helpful.
So your saying you never climbed trees as a kid? Man you missed out it has always been lit
Been trimming trees for the power company for 13 years, climbing is the best. Just make sure to take care of them knees lol

awesome .......treeple are the best...great video
You deserve the International Tree-climbing Championship,
Cinematic is fine and all. But for a non climber, this video made no sense. Lotta pulling rope and no context really
Maybe they should change the title to something more appropriate like, "Non-instructional video of people climbing trees during competition"?!
As a climber, I totally agree. Everything these days has to be frenetic, and I am not with that.

I wish I was there climbing. It sucks tree climbers don’t get paid enough, but I'm lookibg forward to coming back to tree life
Not sure where you are located but here in Maryland a Climber can get paid up to $500 a day
Yeah it pays amazing where I’m at
SevenAte 9 you’re talking about contract climbers tho, right ? Working for a company here in New York, most climber get paid less than 30 an hour.
Dude climbers make anywhere from $400-800 a day where im at, start your own business and you're looking at $1k+ a day

Is it just me that thinks there isn’t a lot of climbing in this?
But, what's the point?
Saw no self lowering of plane limbs off the end off the climbers main lines over a Porsche Cayenne. Not impressed.
