I’ve always been simplistic with my beats and I always felt like I was the only one doing that 😂 don’t get me wrong when a certain beats calls for complexity I’ll do that.
Dude! you know what crazy? There are genres that just have complex music, and some that don't. Rap & RnB are one of them. that could change easily if an artist was willing to experiment.

its a stock Fl studio plugin called "Fruit Kick". Preset is called "Click" something. I put 4 notes into the piano roll and pitch the last 3 down an octave and turn down the velocity!
