There was a kid that said my Suzuki ltf250 2wd 92 was a garbage bike I crawled through a huge mudhole and I can go everywhere my Honda can go Honda and Suzuki are my preferred bikes
Not me. I own a 2003 Fourtrax with manual shift. 17 yrs old and still runs like the day I bought it. Also have a 2018 500 Rubicon. Back in the day had a 1980 CT70, 1990 XR200 and 1991 CR125. Honda’s are the best. Never had any problems whatsoever with any of these machines!🤘🏼
Everyone is talking about full sending it, you guys did just fine. Go slow and steady, just like you did and you still got across just fine and machines are still in one piece. Not everyone can afford to rebuild their machine every weekend.
cool vid . That's the way I like to explore. See an obstacle and find the easy way around or through if you have too. I never been one to punch it and HOPE for the best. Any fool can beat their horse (atv), but if you want them to bring you back you have to treat them nice.
Being too careful can get you in trouble, so will be too dramatic. If my husband would've kept talking to me I would've threw rocks at him and shut him up lol
1985 Honda 4trx 350, 3" lift, 32" mud litres, snorkelled out. Goes anywhere and everywhere. Aka the tank of all bikes. 1993 Honda 4trx 300, bone stock. Still goes more places than most 500's. gotta love Hondas, you can leave them stock or mod them, they will still go places. ❤️
One thing i noticed is when i winch i am in neutral , let the winch do the work. I am sure my 400 4 by 4 Suzuki with a winch and mudders tires. From my experience you must use full throttle. ALSO THE LAST TIME WATER WAS VERY HIGH At that point i would have backed out. I do not like water above the foot rests.
I drove my '05 Rincon over a 4 foot bolder I had to make a ramp from rocks, after a hour of road building I got over the rock fall, No water to land in, just a 50 foot ledge and certain death. But ya, cool guys. I need a Gopro...
It's nice seeing someone actually try to take care of their rigs and ride safe. Personally, I like to ride slow and steady. Makes the wheeler last a lot longer! LOL
***** Yep, me too. I can only afford one new machine once in a long while. Seems like some of these folks are made of money based on how they treat their rides. I can't afford to go breaking stuff all the time. Where are yall located at? I live in AK. This looks like some of the places we like to ride.
yea unfortunetly i probably dont take good care of mine, i probably would have tryed jumping that creek but then again mine is a 300ex which is a racing quad
I ride hard but i still take care of my stuff cause thats basecly all i have i ride slow and fast to look for deers i look back to make sure people behind me are still there
my god man. When you started going back and the cam went under water, it knocked the wind out of me too. Glad you didn't get seriously hurt, awesome vids man. I'm hooked.
What a fun way to spend a weekend. Videos always make things look waaay easier than in person... and that looked steep! Good job using throttle and winch rather than "sending it".
Thanks 👍 We don't ride on organized trails so never know what is "under" the water....if we break them we have to fix them so tend to be a little more cautious!
Been using Honda's for 40 years. Never had a motor problem and very little problem with the rest of anything. 300 fourtrax 2X4 is all I need where I am or anywhere I will likely go. I can see having something bigger in Wyoming or someplace but I personally wouldn't waist the money for a larger ATV. Aways had more fun on the smaller equipment anyway. Can max out without getting hurt as bad.
Yeah they are!. No idea what this one will be called, but i'm pretty sure there will be a whole lotta funny stuff being smoked lol. Cameras started to rolling in late March. I used to go to the set after shooting. Its neat to see a whole film crew drive through parts of the city.
inn buddy ive got the same bike same tires in fact my front tires have hardly any tread and i never been not able to get outta what i got into yet. The other day i was about 2 1/2ft deep in a whole very mucky shit and i was a little scared as it took a good 15 mins to get out and i was alone no winch about 5 miles from town lol
Before I even watch this vid I would like to say that I have a 1985 250SX trike and I go everywhere that my buddies go with their new side-bys and quads. Great vid. Yeah, creeks/rivers can be deceiving sometimes. But with two machines, you overcome almost anything. Personally, I would have floored it and DAMN THE TORPEDOES!! ....LOL.....But I'm an ass who had many accidents and destroyed many dirt bikes and machines over the years....LOL Keep riding!!!
Thanks for stopping by and checking out the video. Your trike sounds like a blast! We never know what is in the bottom of these creeks - let alone know how deep they are so always take it cautiously. Still have a good time!
"Guess were going back" should not be a thought when riding a quad....but then again...you are in the middle of nowhere, but then again your not by yourself either ;o) Also a few more logs on the water would have help loads...still looks like fun! Thanks for sharing.
Well crossing that river looked like fun to me wish I could try it.Besides your videos are awesome cubbeezx cant wait for the next one since I have now watched all the other ones you have posted on here including the great funny dog videos of old Jethro and Oliver.
Thanks Cubbeezx. Your cylinder is just a clever water container? Low profile and rather industrial? I like it. Would like to copy it. I'm new to ATVing. Was 2 wheeled since a young boy. Finally jumping in but want to stay small and low profile. The bigger bikes you might as well get a jeep. Tomorrow I pick up my new to me, 1996 Honda 300 Fourtrax FW Limited Edition. I'm out of my skull waiting to hit the trails up here in Northern Ontario. Cheers
I'm with ya! I inherited an 88 Fourtrax300 from my grandpa. I use it to this day, it's never once broke down on the trail, and I've never gotten it stuck even in some hairy places. Oh, and did I mention that it gets twice the MPG's and keeps up with the big bad brand new monsters? Cheers :D
i would suggest that if you do that again use more speed and try to lift the front wheels onto the other side so the front wheels can pull you up with the four wheel drive
just trying to help a fellow rider =) also when i winch a tree i have a strap that i tied into a circle and then i wrap around a tree and its quadrupled. seatbelt strap and i got a 4000 pound winch and ive had it bogged down and the strap was holding perfect.
You went on the wrong side. The left side didnt have as many logs. Also we have taken quads through faster and deeper rivers, not creeks. I take my dirtbike through it easily too. Not critisizimg just maybe pick a better line next time.
Dude sweet Vid. Im up in Yellowknife and I am looking for an ATV. I love those old hondas. I drove a fourwheeler for the first time when I was 10 on one of those.
See, I look at this and wonder how I would get back across it. I would have turned around mostly because I ride alone and can't take a chance like that.

Everyone who says "just punch it" or "...don't know how to ride" would likely be the ones that end up on the ATV Fails video(s). One note I'll add. Nice ride Greg! We had tons of fun on the old Honda's and still have the 1986 TRX350...took it out earlier this year and always a blast....tough and just keep on ticking! Have fun riding and thanks for watching.
Greg Rowe i have a 250 four traxx 2w4 I WAS TOLD that my 250 will blow the door soff a 300 but mine is alittle faster i have a aftermarket exhaust and running airplane fuel in it i also beat a Polaris sportsman 500 with mine
I dont have that anymore, sold it and have a Rancher 350 2x4 now. The 300 was never meant to be fast, it was a utility machine, it tops out at about 45 mph. The Rancher goes about 50. The only reason I bought either one of them was because they were cheap, not because they were fast.
It had to be the logs because we took our Hondas (1997 400 foremans) through the Gila river in Arizona with water over the handle bars and made it out without winches haha and the can-ams couldn't make it!
Lol thanks! But i have one more question.. Im restoring an 86 honda fourtrax 350, did you have to put alot of work into yours? Or has it always been that nice?
People under estimate Hondas. Old or new, they are amazing wheelers and bikes
There was a kid that said my Suzuki ltf250 2wd 92 was a garbage bike I crawled through a huge mudhole and I can go everywhere my Honda can go Honda and Suzuki are my preferred bikes

I don't think anyone actually under estimates Hondas, if anything they're known to be rugged and one of the most reliable ATVs
Amen brother I got a 2002 honda recon 250 ol gurl still got it🤣🤣🤣
Hondas are amazing wheelers and everything, ive put mine through stuff and never had a problem.
Everyone is talking about full sending it, you guys did just fine. Go slow and steady, just like you did and you still got across just fine and machines are still in one piece. Not everyone can afford to rebuild their machine every weekend.
Riding is all about getting through these situations and reflecting on how you handled it. Nice bikes!
Them old 350s are tuff any 300 to 450 older Honda's are tough and better than any newer ones out my opinion.
Truth! My 2002 Foreman is a beast
If you're not going to throw some logs, rocks, or boards to drive over, then I got one word of advice - momentum!
cool vid . That's the way I like to explore. See an obstacle and find the easy way around or through if you have too. I never been one to punch it and HOPE for the best. Any fool can beat their horse (atv), but if you want them to bring you back you have to treat them nice.
Y’all made way to big of a deal out of that😂
If there was a time i wanted to jump on a bike and show someone what these bikes are capable of. It was in this video😂
Being too careful can get you in trouble, so will be too dramatic. If my husband would've kept talking to me I would've threw rocks at him and shut him up lol
Ikr
First there’s trees in it
Yup. Those old hondas will go to unreal places. With the right operator.
I was 5 years old and at Disney Land at the time this came out. Now I'm 14 sitting at home bored. Life flys by quick
Same

Thanks for watching and glad you enjoy the vids....yeah glad me and the quad didn't have any major damage....

Should have went in to the left where the other tire tracks were.....
Keep practicing and riding guys!
my friend has a 1983 Chinese ATV and it still find like a champ
RIght on!
I drove my '05 Rincon over a 4 foot bolder I had to make a ramp from rocks, after a hour of road building I got over the rock fall, No water to land in, just a 50 foot ledge and certain death. But ya, cool guys. I need a Gopro...
You could look down in that creek and see the logs that would give you trouble and they did.
Who else got this video recommended 9 years later?
11 years 😂
"Pretty greasy julian" 😂😂
I'm italian.
i am thoroughly convinced i could get across that first try
when you drop the front in the drink , get on her and then hit her hard to keep from getting stuck
who else is hear in the pandemic
It's nice seeing someone actually try to take care of their rigs and ride safe. Personally, I like to ride slow and steady. Makes the wheeler last a lot longer! LOL
We agree Seth! We have to fix our own stuff and if it's broken down then it cuts into our riding time LOL Thanks for checking out the video!
***** Yep, me too. I can only afford one new machine once in a long while. Seems like some of these folks are made of money based on how they treat their rides. Seth Hampton We live and ride in Northwestern Ontario in Canada. Cool to hear about similar riding terrain!
yea unfortunetly i probably dont take good care of mine, i probably would have tryed jumping that creek but then again mine is a 300ex which is a racing quad
I ride hard but i still take care of my stuff cause thats basecly all i have i ride slow and fast to look for deers i look back to make sure people behind me are still there
this was an easy 'obstacle'. also try not over inflating the tires....they had zero 'bite' becuase you had them rock solid overinflated
my god man. When you started going back and the cam went under water, it knocked the wind out of me too. Glad you didn't get seriously hurt, awesome vids man. I'm hooked.
"It's pretty greasy, Julian," lmao. Grea-ea-ea-easy!
LOL, It sure was, thanks for watching!
Really can't stop these thing when there in 1st gear..
i got a 1984 atc200s . itook it through deep mud like 3 feet deep and the honda went right through it.
''Its temping us'' I get that feeling every time I cross my creek with my Honda recon ES
LOL...Thanks for watching and commenting Aaron. Nice Ride!
Good thing you guys got two of them. You could really get through anything that way.
lol you got a winch and nothing to worry about... i coulda done that on my honda 90 2wd...
as bubbles would say, "My God that's greasy!!!" lmao, I loved your trailer park boys quote thrown in there :)
The old Honda’s are built like bricks. I have a 1989 Honda fourtrax 350 and the things pretty bulletproof so they can make it for sure
They drive like a brick to...lol
Are you kidding any Honda can make it it’s a Honda
Lol
They slow but reliable
@@501ashton i seen a dude outrun a cop with a stock honda 😬
@@501ashton but yea, i do agree
@@Uniiiiii cops are pretty easy to run from on any fourwheeler lol
Man, those 4wheelers are tough! My grandpa had a '96 FourTrax350, that thing could literally go anywhere.
They sure are tough! Just keep on ticking! Thanks for watching.
Gotta love a good day out on the trails with the wife. You guys did great.

Go slow? That’s how people roll them my friend. Gotta plan ahead and ride through it.
Basically drove right down there and high centered on a log that was directly in the path. Tire placement man.
Honda’s are beasts
They sure are!
damn, not one but TWO old Hondas! nostalgia at its finest!
89 300 fourtrax. ..All original mint and still climbs, plows, etc.
Yeah they are!. No idea what this one will be called, but i'm pretty sure there will be a whole lotta funny stuff being smoked lol. Cameras started to rolling in late March. I used to go to the set after shooting. Its neat to see a whole film crew drive through parts of the city.
I've had a 98, 20,02, 04, 06, 86,&87 the 87 & 86 we're the best I ever owned
+Jakobie Justice WOW...you've had a lot of Honda's. They are great ATV's!
Yeah I have a 2004 Rancher 350 no issues and I have almost 4,000 miles
Slam that throttle and lean back
Commit or dont. Never in between
MOMENTUM
I have a 1999 honda fourtrax 300 4x4 with mudlite tires and it goes anywhere

You need get a big Polaris 800, and that walk through all your water holes.
Honda’s is better Polaris is trash
that is the nicest 350d ive ever seen
Thank you!
My old 1992 Honda doesn't want to quit and still goes faster than my dad's 2015 and I have to run straight Lucas oil😂
Those Honda's are tough aren't they! Still have our 1986 Honda TRX 350
Bulletproof is the word i use to describe my Honda. 1985 250sx still pops wheelies in the mud
Beautiful old Honda.
Yea, it ain't the Hondas fault these cannooks cant ride!!!! Jeez!!!
I guess momentum is different up north!!!
unfortunately the left side had a really sharp deep drop off that you might not be able to see
i got a 04 foreman 450 and it still running strong and i had it in some terrible places
They are tough aren't they!
ToxicShrimp m
Love the trailer park boys reference
This is different from the Yamaha's isn't it... Great video! Thank you for sharing
yveskc1 This is going way back...Honda's were (and still are) great quads....we travelled a lot of places on them!
are u kidding me??? the question is .... can the new honda’s make it
Yep
good video. Nice job winching. I don't know how many other atvs would've gotten over that one.
Yes they are.86 has 7500 miles on it. I also have 06 Rubicon with 4200 miles. Only reg matinace & couple wheel bearings.
Last time i saw your videos you had the snowmobile and the Honda three wheeler
We still have an old honda 4 wheeler and an old Yamaha Enticer sled
just trying to help a fellow rider =) also when i winch a tree i have a strap that i tied into a circle and then i wrap around a tree and its quadrupled. seatbelt strap and i got a 4000 pound winch and ive had it bogged down and the strap was holding perfect.
When your going threw a creek you need flat tread so you don't just run rocks down inside the creek and make it go higher just a tip
I just bought a 1986 Honda for an 350 and it eats mud and shits out flames! Awesome four wheeler!
Glad your loving the new HOnda....they are tough quads!
Yep. It'll climb anything your not too scared to climb. Gonna put snorkels on it and run it in mud fest.
You went on the wrong side. The left side didnt have as many logs. Also we have taken quads through faster and deeper rivers, not creeks. I take my dirtbike through it easily too. Not critisizimg just maybe pick a better line next time.
We always try to pick the best line, but usually guessing. We never know how deep, or what is on the bottom of these creeks...it's usually a surprise!
It was obvious, I saw that path easily too...
I have a polaris 570 but I would take a honda all day.
My big red will go anywhere you do.
Dude sweet Vid. Im up in Yellowknife and I am looking for an ATV.
I love those old hondas. I drove a fourwheeler for the first time when I was 10 on one of those.
See, I look at this and wonder how I would get back across it. I would have turned around mostly because I ride alone and can't take a chance like that.
ok at 1:55 ish made me jump out of my chair to help . glad all was good .
Thanks, we could have used the extra hands! LOL Appreicate you checking us out.
my dad just bought a 2003 honda fourtrax 350es. the thing is just like one of your quads.
Wow just realized you have over 1.3 million views on this one. Hope you’re continuing to feel better, Cubbee.
i use a strap i dont hook to racks either. on my forewheeler i got a strap tied in the front and back both hooked to the frame so if i have to pull someone out or if they have to pull me out.
Yes it is.And it makes my buddy on a Polaris mad that i almost never work on my Honda!!
Guess the answer here is 'Barely'...lol. As always the camera gives no justice to how steep that entry point is. Everyone who says "just punch it" or "...don't know how to ride" would likely be the ones that end up on the ATV Fails video(s). One note I'll add. I invested in a nice pair of waterproof pants that fit over my rubber boots and can stand in water over my knees with no problem...for such situations just like this - well worth the research and investment if you ride often.
Thank you for saying that!
Honda’s rule!
I just bought a 300 fourtrax 300 2x4 myself. I know you upgraded to a Grizzly but I'm sure you had fun on the old Hondas. I decided to keep the costs down by getting a pretty good deal on the old Honda. It could use some better rear tires but other than that, its good to go.
The only reason I bought either one of them was because they were cheap, not because they were fast.
yea i know this mine was made for utility but for some reason it was insanely fast at acceleration and top speed
I had my 1986 Honda floating through a creek an it made it through fine
I’ve got one just like that, with a little speed it’s got no problem
Rather have old one i hate to get the new ones dirty
hondas are the best . period
1: Honda
2: Can Am
3: Kawasaki
What did we learn? Floor it!
Just send it dude
Fact is the old Honda’s will live longer than the new ones
i agree
Let's high center that sunk log....shoulda sent it
Never been in mud or water. Like new 6000 firm.
They always do the best HONDAS
It had to be the logs because we took our Hondas (1997 400 foremans) through the Gila river in Arizona with water over the handle bars and made it out without winches haha and the can-ams couldn't make it!
Sounds like a fun ride...glad to hear those Honda's made it!
they could have made it, all you had to do was pull them across lol
I love Hondas :):):):) they go good in clay mud
Oh no! A half foot of water what now? “Let’s try it!” Ok 👌 instantly stalls and dang near flips I’m sitting here screaming like its a football game
Y'all Made it! Fun to watch! :-) Big Howdy from Texas!
Thanks for checking out the video Scott!
So many experts. I thought they did a great job.
When in doubt wind it out
i was thinking the exact thing, never f with logs while on a four wheeler.
Horrible angle to approach go in on the left side would of been better.
My 1998 foreman s with a big foot tire kit, wild willie lift, and jet kit would slide right through that!!!
Come on up....creek is still there!
lol..they can be very shy at times..just subbed to your channel..keep up the great work..
Lol thanks! But i have one more question.. Im restoring an 86 honda fourtrax 350, did you have to put alot of work into yours? Or has it always been that nice?
I could go through things that deep all the time with my 250
