refreshing personality in a world sports divas .
It's amazing that foreign players are taking nba teams to finals. They've been bringing new air to the teams.
Its good that you don't call yourself the best while you are still playing. You need goals to stay motivated to work hard and improve. If you reach the peak then it is hard to keep grinding. But by believing he isn't the best then he will feel like there is more he can still do to get better.
I still can’t understand how Joker’s so effective. Bro breaks all stereotypes of how a nba mvp should look & somehow drops 40 pt TDs without even sprinting
He somehow just controls the game, it’s crazy
🃏is RELAXED
He control the pace of the game, just a genius
He don't sprint but in total he runs more than a lot of smaller guys.
It's the tortoise and the hair. He runs a lot, just like a 5k runner, not a sprinter.
I love you Jokic. And I love the Denver Nuggets!
He’s the best right now.
This guy keeps climbing up on my favorite player list.
Better be "too humble" as he's been called here than arrogant like Luka. Joker is already one of the best big guys ever and he's only 28.
Real hoopers KNOW❤
He knows how great he is. But he also knows all these talks of who the best is, are immeasurable & shallow. Only winning is measured.
Plus, when other people will talk about your greatness, you don't need to do so yourself.
He says this but he’s literally the best player player in the NBA😂
When did Giannis get interviewed???
@@FrxstyProdz he was interviewed and said that him getting nearly swept by a team that only has one player is not failure and compared it to Mj and after that they talked to the best player in the nba which is the one in this video
@@FrxstyProdz when did he get eliminated oh yeah round 1 😂🤣🤣💀
@@BaronKing292 if Jokic was injured during one of his series’s the Nuggets would’ve lost too stop it
@@FrxstyProdz they would win in 6-7 😂
He isn't among the best players, he is the best player right now. Till regular season it was three way race now he is at the top. If he wins ring, it will be cemented. He along with Giannis are two of the best players right now. Both offensive juggernauts and one better in defense other in passing.
giannis is garbage stop it jokic is #1 by 20 miles
Amazing how a guy who isnt jacked, cant jump, cant run, can just dominate a game with the best athletes in the world.
The brain is the best muscle in the body -Nikola Jokic
He can run. A lot. A loooot. He doesn't maybe have Fox like top speed but AD ran after him the length of court and never gained an inch. Its sprint vs long distance: You don't say the 10km guys can't run.
Find the tape of Ayton last year arriving at bench and he couldn't talk and breathe at same time because he had to run back hard everytime Jok led a fastbreak. Even his quickness is pretty impressive as he backs down the quickly spins and passes by his cover.
But you're right. He reminds me of Tyson Fury that way.
Slowly but surly big white polar bear.
Hulk was very stupid
🎉😎🏀 Humility
We elevate people on a few good seasons and start calling them great
The difference between a star and super star is
Consistency
Can you keep that super star level
Year by year
Will these reporters ever stop asking the "How special is it" questions? That's not even a question. You just say it's special and want the guy to just say something. Those reporters really don't do their job
Media wants players to respond with a lot of ego. They feed off the created tension. Joker doesn't play that silly game, so it's hard for them to find any hook that will draw him in to the drama.
Exactly, they are asking most stupid questions
Best player in the nba right now
Jokic comes from humble beginnings and a respectable family so his standards are very based.
Of course. Why would he bother thinking about the accolades, the assessments. That's the job of the general public and the media. By focusing on his game, he's giving himself the best chance to continue being acclaimed
Quite the contrast from when Lebron said he was the best player in the world when he was barely the best player on his team.
Seems like a great dude. I don't think he cares about any of that extra shit, just there to play basketball. That makes him even more dangerous
Our MVP!
I love this beautiful man
We seeing thd birth of a star before our eyes
Messi answers this question similarly, legacy comes after playing, now is just ball.
Yep, Jokic is Lionel Messi in basketball, highest IQ, wide vision, had insane accuracy passing and shooting, lack of muscle but super strong and had insane body balance, insane awareness, incredible decision making, so effective. Their size just opposite but still Jokic is Lionel Messi in basketball
I swear to god Jokic could win 10 finals in a row, get all 10 FMVP, win 10 more MVPs and still people would be like "well, he's just stat padding"
But he likes more family life and horses. He just wants to finish this and go back home and see his family and horses
They'd say they're still not sold cuz they need to see more rim protection. They think that basketball should be measured by how much jungle monkey jumping you do. Jokic honors the game itself by playing the way it was created to be played.
@@Musso8771 Like it's so sad. most of the NBA Fans want to see selfish players just playing for their Legacy and start to hate a guy that plays as it was intended, a Team game.
As a Jokic stan, i will say this. I don't really care about his ranking in today's game, that is very subjective. On the other hand, i can guarantee you that no has more of an impact on the game and jokic, rebounding, pushing the pace, running the half court sets( they run pin downs for a center.wtf) not to mention his mental passing ability, there might be other players more talented, faster and stronger than him but basketball is played 5 v 5 and i am taking jokic over everybody.
This. Jokic may not have the highest individual stat. But he has a +20% performance aura to all his teammates.
What did he call himself when referring to his status on his own team?
"First among equals."
Off course he is playing basketball not wrestling
Both modest and an amazing player. 👏💪
He doesn’t want to spend time wondering if he’s great. He’s just staying in the mindset of competing. Sometimes ego can get in the way.
what a humble guy
I love you jokic you are the best player i Heard NBA
While it's not Shaq and Kobe, this Denver team with the Jokic and Murray combo reminds of those early 00s Lakers teams.
It’s funny bc he is the best in the league rn and it’s really not even close IMO! He can do everything what can’t he do?
Defend at a high level but he is currently the best
hes a decent enough defender to where his offense being as good as it is still makes him the best in the world
He will join the likes of MJ, Magic, and Bird. He's an all time great!
Steph and Lebron to
these puff pieces bounce off Jokic as he continues to remind the world that basketball is a team sport
Him taking that team to 48 wins last season is one of the greatest efforts I've ever seen
What a dude 💯
That Step Back Rainbow 3 Over Lebron & AD Was a Thing of Beauty
Joker is wildly talented and dedicated
He's humble, he just wants to play ball, he deserves a Title.
Jokic is and nuggets not messing around. We may be witnessing a dynasty in the making
