    Here in Canada i run single hive management, i add another deet but just before the flow i shake them down and add a excluder. So they back fill the second box and then i add as needed. But i winter in 1 deet cheers

    Can i use only honey supers as a brrood boxes without any deeps?

      Some use 3 medium boxes as the brood / food storage area. Supers are actually not a size, but a term used for the box where excess honey is stored during the flow. Most commonly used are mediums or shallow, but a deep box can be used..(Heavy!)

      One of my hives is triple mediums, it's the strongest hive I have. Kind of annoying as it's a weird fit putting anything in from deeps or taking medium frames out to put in a deep.
