In Italy, working for Ferrero is like winning the lotto. It is, probably, the best company in Italy
It contains a lot of sugar and palm oil, which causes clogged arteries. It can be made at home and is healthier by using natural hazelnut butter, natural cocoa butter, whole milk, and honey.
It's so different to how I remember it back in the 70's when first introduced to it in Germany. It came in a yellow tube, was lighter in colour and tasted much better then today. Why are they using middle aged people to do the taste testing though? Taste buds change as you get older, so what might taste nice to an older person, may not taste nice to a younger person.
I notice the taste of nutella has changed over the years, now it seems very sweet, going back 20 years ago it seemed to be a richer taste without leaving the sweet taste in your mouth, I hardly buy any now! is there anyone else think the same as me? It seems they have cheeped out on some ingredients!
Nutella recipes vary slightly from country to country, for example in the United States it is sweeter than what you can find in Italy
Yeah you'd probably wanna go with Italian Nutella if you want that old taste back, America decided to dump more sugar in it, and probably uses cheaper ingredients now in the name of "cheap and convenience". They do that with bread besides, so why not mess with Nutella too?
