The very best garden I manure i ever used was from goats and hay/straw for tomatoes. It was from a home garden plot of 30X30'. I gathered 5 - 5 gallon buckets of tomatoes a day. I was eating them by the bowl full, canning them, making salsa and selling them to veggie dealers in my area. This was only one season.
Good family fuctioning together very well..its very inspiring farmers...If I had to to tell people something i would order them to be like this family...farming and being a team like this..Well done
Great to see a family working together. You certainly have a big operation going on and I understand why all hands on deck are needed. How incredible is Grammy. Grammy has worked so hard all day with her cooking of pies. Take care all, thankyou for the video xxxx
Poor Grammy. She must be so tired. I hope one of the younger ones is getting trained up so she can relax a bit. Even cooking all the meals each day is exhausting. I worry for her but she looks the type to say she's fine. Maybe send her off for a spa day or something to let her know how much she is appreciated.
@@theveggieboys That's 10thGenDairyFarmer not 7th :P Great videos, I'm back-watching everything you posted! In this video, would be great if you posted at least once or twice putting the pies in the oven and taking them out just for completeness, but that's ok, just for the future.
Boy would I love to have some of that awesome compost material! The cleaned pens look great 👍 BTW - we are shouting you out as part of our “12 shoutouts of Christmas” on Thursday (December 5th). Have a great week! 😊 Josie
So does Grammy make the pie crusts from scratch or order pre-made? Personally, I would go for pre-made as there are crusts out there which are a lot better than mine. Crusts are a touchy subject!
I don't know if you check the comments on past videos...but if you do...what breed of hens do you keep for egg production? They seem to be gentle and relaxed and their eggs look great. Thanks in advance.
would love to see a Grammy cookbook
I second this!
You know that your grand mother is a blessing for you guys ,,!,

Pies look wonderful. I used to work at a Farmers market and I made hundreds of pies too. I miss baking. Very hard work though.

How many laying hens do y’all have and what do you feed them?
We have roughly 200, we grind our own feed.
The Veggie Boys my son is wanting to start raising some production hens. Any advice on what to feed them for best production.
👍👌🇨🇦❤,
You didn’t feed the cat!!!!!
