I live just off East Grand Traverse Bay and normally need to go to several spots miles north of me for rocky shores. Today I went to the beach a mile away and was stunned by all the fist sized rocks on the shore. Amazing how the finds change day by day and month by month. I am trying to figure out where your beach is at. It looks like a great spot for photos and drone shots.
It is a fantastic spot. I've never seen clay formations like at that spot, so definitely worth photographing. It is amazing how our great lakes change their moods and choose what to give. In White Lake a few years ago a 150(?) year old shipwreck was uncovered by the waves, and about a month later was covered, again. Gotta enjoy it all while you can, for sure!
Looked like a great day to hit the beach ! Can't blame you for wanting to rock there ! Some really pretty rocks are down there and nice fossils also 😊
I can't ever get enough of getting down there. It's the getting back up that's the killer, though.
