Today in Belize City it was sunny, windy, hot and dry. Over the next 24 hours, skies will be mostly sunny with a few cloudy spells today. Tonight skies will be clear to partly cloudy. Little or no rainfall is expected. High temperatures will be 91 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 102 degrees Fahrenheit over inland areas and 86 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight's low temperatures will be 83 degrees degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 77 degrees Fahrenheit over inland areas and 70 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. A heat alert is in effect. Residents, especially those inland, are advised to stay hydrated and avoid outdoor activity as much as possible, especially during the afternoon hours.
