Hi. On Saturday morning we really got it here on Curaçao. While the Central and Eastern parts of the island were cloudy with light shiwers here and there, the Western side of the island got a severe downpour causing floods in some neighborhoods and blocking main roads. It completely cut-off certain areas of the west. And turquoise beaches turned bown and muddy. It was a real thing down here

Good afternoon, Brian. Thank you for bringing us this update even though you’re not feeling well. Hoping you recover fully very soon. You’re absolutely right about the two extremes of weather we experience in the Caribbean. For us in Trinidad, the heat and dust (new surge came in over the weekend and looks like it’ll be with us for a while; AQI levels are at Unhealthy for my area) have been so extreme and there doesn’t seem to be any reprieve in sight. All this dust stabilizes the atmosphere. We need rain badly. Have a great day and again, hope you feel better soon ☺️

Hay Brian, came over from the kingston, Spanish town area(south side) over the weekend to Ocho Rios(north side) & there were showers scared all over, a lot more on the north coast than the south but the interior south side it rain in the afternoons.
