Do the porcelain tiles span front to back without any other supports? The ‘block work’ image suggests so. Just curious to the strength for holding the BBQ etc?
@@aosoutdoorkitchens Appreciate you sharing the insights ... do you do anything to prevent water ingress between the tiles? Without grouting, how do you prevent water getting into the void underneath?

Hi Wayne, yes the blockwork is 830mm deep and the blocks are 100mm thick so the span is 630mm which is absolutely fine for the tiles

@@waynegriffiths8151 you can silicone along the joins using a clear silicone which will stop water getting in there
