OOOhhhh, nice milliohmmeter! I own the older brother - the HP 4338A. I got it at a reasonable price because (a) the seller didn't know what it was and (b) it was listed as a battery resistance meter so nobody else had spotted it. Interestingly, it will measure battery internal resistance of batteries up to 42 Vdc because it uses AC current to measure resistance. A nice source of fairly accurate low value resistors for testing it is current shunts - I have a set of Empro shunts that I used to test mine. Regards, David

Small drills with set shank size is about the most expensive way of buying drills.
My jewellery flexi-shaft handpiece has a normal chuck so can take any size drill. but the quick release handpiece need drills with a set shank size. great you can change the tools quick but the drills are a lot more expensive.

The electric drill won’t get a lot of use, so bit cost is not of much concern, of it were something I would be using a lot then that certainly would be a consideration.

Arrowmax SDS Mini 22 Electric Drill - Poor reviews on Amazon mainly regarding battery life and reliability, I think I'll avoid and look out for alternatives. Please let us know your experience with it over time.

So far it has been good, but it hasn’t had a lot of use yet.

That tool box is nice - how do I get around them waiting $160 shipping to the US?

It's like a self-fulfilling prophecy :P or maybe just irony.... You need to buy test equipment to fix, but it's getting expensive. It's getting expensive because you need to buy test equipment to fix.
Go back 10yrs ago, where there weren't as many videos from RUclipsrs fixing old electronics (consoles, etc...) and it was cheap to buy.
The problem is as all these RUclips videos have popped up over the years showing how easy it can be to fix stuff, viewers start buying it themselves to fix. Then you have the RUclipsrs who buy, fix, and sell, and naturally viewers realise they might be able to make money off of this stuff to, and the sellers on eBay, etc... realise they can make even more money off of this old equipment.
