Is this a similar repair to a sm t-510 When I look at my t510 it appears to be pressed down inside the side bezel as if I would have to dig down and pull it up does that make sense to you? It is 2019 model
This isT555, P555 u need to separate the touchscreen with LCD via wire cut then laminating with OCA, in the video, he just replace touch screen, dont need to separate LCD

I decided to buy a replacement digitizer for my sons broken screen (the model was same as his) after watching this video.. bought the new digitizer and tools to replace it .. heated the front good as described and noticed a major difference ... the LCD was also stuck to the digitizer .. like all over it which may it impossible to separate it without ruining the LCD ... I destroyed the tablet .. and wasted over $50 attempting this .. viewers beware .. either Samsung changed their glueing practices or the RUclipsr has a non factory LCD / digitizer combo in order to get views showing the impossible.
Chris Baker Hi sir I am a hardware technician I had the same problem This was my first galaxy tab a (with s pen) so i had to check for the design in order not to break any thing and i have noticed that this tablet has alot of versions and this in the video is t550 but my clients tablet was p555 with the s pen And all models t or tm is like this video but the p models like what you said the outer glass is glued to the lcd display and in order to separate them you need special tools and machines and the Ultraviolet glue wich is very hard for a user like you to have . And in my case the internal screen is broken and the outer glass is in good shape . So i decided to replace the whole thing to be quick and efficient. And so you can change the whole screen and that can be done easly using only screwdrivers and picks. At the end if you broke only the screen even the whole one you still can get new one and you still can fix your tablet . You can buy it online but you have to check the model number of your tablet then search for it online. Mine was p555 and its the only model available in Egypt and Middle east. Sorry for long writing hope you fix your tablet. Regards

If you apply heat then wait for a bit that will melt the glue better, then it will come off much easier. Thanks for the video tutorial
