'미래를 향한 비상'은 금호아시아나 본관의 설계 초기부터 유지되어 온 개념이다. 이를 통해 세계적인 기업으로 도약해가는 금호아시아나 그룹의 이미지를 건축적으로 표현하고자 했다. 신문로에 건립된 새 본관은 직육면체의 무표정한 건물들 사이에서 절제된 한국 고유의 자연스러운 선과 미래로 향하는 비상의 궤적이 어우러진 우아한 곡선의 형태로 표현되었다.
'Soaring to the future' is a concept that has been kept from the beginning of design for the new company headquarters for Kumho Asiana, a successful Korean business conglomerate that operates many manufacturing and airline industry. The challenge was to expresses the image of Kumho Asiana that has been rapidly developing itself as a global company.
