Pyrex can explode in the oven, please don’t put pyrex in the oven. It used to be oven safe, they changed it and there have been reports of it exploding in the oven. tenting with foil is safer, though I recognize your desire to reduce waste. Anyways, I love japanese sweet potatoes, and now I want to find some okinawan or Hawaiian sweet potatoes.
