kang sin-jae | sweet dreams are made of this

Sorry if you guys were expecting another lee gon and tae eul edit. I was struggling with song choice and honestly sin jae was stealing my attention.
Ever since episode 8 when he and his mom were talking at the restaurant and they were both in tears, I became so invested in his story. His background was heartbreaking. I wondered where he felt he belonged and which mother he would want to stay with. He’s a good cop, he takes care of his mom and he’s so soft for tae eul. I know they won’t end up together but that sad piano music that plays during their scenes makes me hope they don’t lose their close friendship. He’s been through so much pain in both worlds, he deserves happiness! Imagine waking up as a different kid and believing your whole childhood was a terrible dream. And his new life wasn’t any easier. He even became a cop because he was so scared of people questioning his identity.
In my opinion, he is the most fleshed out supporting (main?) character. This dude is such a good actor, the look in his eyes is so real. Thank you Kim Kyung-nam.
(Also, as I was editing, I noticed their police chief keeps disappearing all the time and lying about it. where does he go???) (edit after finale: that was a disappointing reveal lol. I guess it was meant to be a red herring.)

just finished the drama and had to come watch edits of kang sinjae. he's literally a little kid who needed a hug and be told everything will be alright. definitely my fav character from the drama and i love this to bits! ❤

My heart tilts between Jo Yeong and Kang Sin-Jae as fav characters in TKEM, and this video is so absolutely brilliant it makes my heart bend to KSJ's side a little further. His story is beautiful, touching, could have made a drama on its own. KKN is perfect for the role. I didn't know him before TKEM, but then I learned he comes from a theatre background and it's really clear to me now. I just want to hug him and tell him that everything's gonna be ok.
