    Hi Bob, is this ski similar to the K2 disruption 82ti?

      Yes these two skis are very similar. I do think the K2 is a bit rougher around the edges with very angular tip and tail shapes. The Dynastar is slightly rounder and more available to mix up turn shape, style, and terrain.

    Looks like a good option in the 80-82 mm waist range for high performance arc-ing. Were you both skiing the 179 length? I ask because I know Jeff is a bit lighter than Bob. Is there a 2023 version or is this where it ends?

      HI Sean!
      Jeff is a 179 while I'm a 185. It's pretty solid and stable for sure. This is the new version: www.skiessentials.com/2023-ski-test/skis/2023-dynastar-speed-4x4-963/
      Same ski, different name.

      @@SkiEssentials Hi Bob, thanks again for the info. Fyi, some confusion on this ski came to me because on one of your other videos on the 2022 Dynastar Speed 963, ruclips.net/video/heerPb6k3mQ/видео.html , you said it's 68mm underfoot at the 1:49 mark of the video. I abandoned the video altogether after I heard that. But to be clear, the 2023 4x4 963 is 82mm underfoot, correct?

      I probably confused two different models as the same model....

    You guys would get way more interaction if you staggered your video releases. What are you thinking putting out 100 videos in 1 day??

    • @SkiEssentials
      @SkiEssentials  3 года назад

      Yes, you're right. I'm happy to explain as that question comes up a lot. It was actually closer to 350 videos, and with that amount, it makes it hard to stagger. We could do 10 videos a day and it would take over a month to get them all up, and I actually think that would screw up people's feeds more than the big dump of all of them. Obviously 1 video a day wouldn't work as that would take all year. Ultimately, these videos are designed as park of our Ski Test, which functions better as a complete, whole entity rather than as parts.
      It's tough. We don't want to bother people by putting all these videos up at once, but we also want the Test to function correctly and for people to be able to access all the information they're looking for. I've spoken with folks from RUclips about this and aside from putting them up as "Unlisted" so you have to find them on our site, there doesn't seem to be a great solution.
      All that said, as always, I really appreciate the feedback and we'll continue to reassess big releases like this and will always try to do what we think is best for our audience.
